Apathy Is Not an Option
I always like to center my work around a particular vision. The last two elections I have focused on growth. The first was "Dare to Grow". We did grow. We grew from 1397 to 1497 population that first term. Our retention rates increased by 13%. This was because of the hard work of active TD's, ministers, and a president who understood that in order for Ireland to survive, she had to grow.
I issued a call to action and you answered Ireland.

The second term, my vision built on the first, "Still Growing Strong". And we have. We have continued to build on what was laid previously.
The eWorld looks very different today than it did a month ago. PEACE is not the goliath it once was. We had two training wars taken out in quick succession. We have had vigorous debates about what that means for Ireland and how we should proceed. We are an Independent Nation, not a neutral one. It may seem like a subtle difference, but it is not. We are taking our place in this world. Neutrality made us seem indecisive, weak. That is not the Ireland I know. That is not an Ireland I wish to see.
So here is what I do see:
-We need to prepare for a war
We may never see war on our shores in the near future. However, with our stance changing from neutral to independent, it is very likely that we will be called to defend other unaligned nations against oppression and imperialism. That means we need to establish a comprehensive ranking up strategy and the means to financially support these efforts.
There are several proposals being worked on currently that address this issue. Without an excellent ranking up strategy and an organized well funded IDF, we will be an easy target. In my eyes this is the most immediate issue that Ireland is facing today.
-Foreign Affairs
You can't have a military strategy without equally excellent diplomacy. These two must work in tandem to ensure our continued independence. Those elected as TD's will be constantanly assessing the state of the world, alliances, conflicts, and relations with other countries. In order to make sure we are making the right decisions, we need active TD's who are well versed in these issues and not satisfied with the status quo.
-It's time to get involved
You will get involved, Ireland. No more two clicking namby pamby BS anymore. It's time to get off your eA**es and participate. You don't have any more excuses. There is no reason not to work, train, and fight everyday. Even if you have to fight barehanded, do it. Even if you are a peace loving flower smelling hippy who likes puppy dogs and rainbows, you need to do your part.
As a TD, I have been anything, but apathetic. I wish I could say the same about all my fellow TD's, but I can't. So please, don't vote for those theiving a**h*les who run for the money and nothing else. Let's see if we can improve on the last election.
I have been your representitive for the last two terms. I work my a*** off. I am so committed to having a Q5 hospital in Cork and Kerry that I left a well paying job to work at the State Hospital to help complete it faster. I may not always do what is popular, but I do what is right for my people, right for Ireland. When you voted for me in the past, this type of commitment is what you have always gotten, and that is what you will continue to receive.
It's time to take our place, Ireland. It's time to get involved.
Apathy Is Not an Option
