"Record of Lodoss War" and "Fate/stay night" Crossover Poster Offered

It's a battle of blonds as Saber from Fate/stay night meets Deedlit from Record of Lodoss War in a Takashi Takeuchi illustrated poster, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the original Lodoss War light novels and the 30th anniversary of computer gaming/manga magazine Comptiq.

While a copy of the poster is being offered with Comptiq, along with an audio drama between knight Parn and elf Deedlit, larger promo versions will also be unveiled in Akihabara.

Kill with Words in "Typing of the Dea😛 Overkill" Right Now on PC

I have fond memories of playing the original Typing of the Dead—Sega's spin on House of the Dead 2 that replaces guns with keyboards and kills enemies with quickly-typed words—and now the clever teaching tool is back in all its brain-splitting glory.

As the name implies, Typing of the Dea😛 Overkill takes House of the Dea😛 Overkill and inserts frantic keyboard gameplay. It's available for purchase via Steam and the Sega Store, and is currently half price until November 1.

The download also comes with a "full and faithful port" of the PlayStation 3 version of House of the Dead, and two-player co-op is set to come shortly after launch as DLC.

"Non Non Biyori" OVA Planned

Especially given the sparsity of competition, Non Non Biyori looks like its going to be the big cute girls doing nothing success of fall 2013's anime season. Beyond Silver Link's TV series adaptation of the rural manga, the next issue of Comic Alive, on sale November 27th, will announce details on a planned OVA anime.
