If any anime fan to going to spot, or possibly invent, clues in promo, its going to be the Madoka Magica maniacs. In a new poster, they spied what they think is the text "ゴメンナサイ" or "I'm sorry" on Kyoko's sleeve.

Code Geass: Akito the Exiled (Bōkoku no Akito) follows a side story set in the early summer of Revolution Year 228, around the same time that Lelouch takes on his "Zero" identity and starts to build his “Black Knights” rebellion army. This anime focuses on the invasion of the Euro Universe (E.U.) by the Holy Britannian Empire and special division “Wyvern” Knightmare corps. These corps are comprised entirely of Japanese teenagers and commanded by Layla Malkal (Maaya Sakamoto), a former Britannian Aristocrat. The story follows Akito Hyuuga (Miyu Irino) as he and the rest of the Wyvern corps are plunged into the battlefield with a 5% chance of survival.

New cast members include Fumihiko Tachiki as Michael Augustus, Taketora as Godfroa do Villon, Hikaru Miyata as Raymond San Jiru, Takuma Terashima as Ashley Ashura, Mamiko Noto as Maria Shing, Takahiro Sakurai as Suzaku Kururugi, and many more.

Kazuki Akane (Birdy the Mighty: Decode, Vision of Escaflowne) directed and wrote the screenplay with Miya Asakawa (Turn A Gundam, Polar Bear's Café). As in the previous two television series, Takahiro Kimura adapted Clamp's original character designs for animation. Akira Yasuda returned to design the mechanical Knightmare units with a soundtrack by Ichiko Hashimoto (RahXephon). The anime studio Sunrise, the previous Code Geass director Goro Taniguchi, and the previous series script supervisor Ichiro Okouchi are credited with the original story.

The second volume was delayed until Saturday, after it was already delayed from spring to summer. Funimation announced at Otakon last month that it licensed the series for North America.

The promotional video is narrated by voice actress Kana Hanazawa as her character Nadeko Sengoku, a 14-year-old girl (born on June 3) who was cursed by a snake. She reels off her favorite things: her favorite food is hamburger, her favorite manga is from the '80s, and her favorite niichan (big brother figure) is Koyomi.

The Otorimonogatari anime will premiere on September 21.

Tomoyuki Itamura is directing Otorimonogatari, while Akiyuki Shinbo is acting as chief director and series script supervisor along with Fuyashi Tou. Akio Watanabe is designing the characters based on VOFAN's original novel illustrations. Watanabe, Nobuhiro Sugiyama, and Taisuke Iwasaki are also serving as chief animation directors at SHAFT. Satoru Kousaki is handling the music. The cast remains unchanged from Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari.

The "second season" arc of the Monogatari series is covering the material from five volumes of the original light novel series in two cours or half a year.

The series premiered in Japan last month, and Daisuki and Crunchyroll are streaming the series outside of Japan. Aniplex of America announced in June that it has acquired the rights to both Nekomonogatari (Black) and Monogatari Series Second Season.
