Hello fellow soldiers,

There has been one thing that has been bothering me for a while and this question is: Is it more cost efficient to buy alot of cheap weapons then to buy a few expensive weapons? I will attemot to determine this in my article.

*Note: All strength and damage figures are based of my strength but the ratio should be proportional to your strength and should apply to you to. Also this guide is for those who tank. Meaning that they buy 1 wellness pack after every battle, thus keeping their wellness at 100.

First of lets see how many weapons we can buy with 10 gold. (using average prices, found using erepublik.ws):

Q5=9
Q4=12
Q3=19
Q2=33
Q1=66

Obliviously, less quality means more weapons. But It also means youll be spending more gold on wellness pack.

Now with 100 HP I can do the following damage: Q5=250, Q4=220, Q3=200, Q2=175, Q1=147.

We can thus see how much damage I can get from 10 golds worth of:

Q5 weapons: 9x250=2250
Q4 weapons: 12x220=2640
Q3 weapons: 19x200=3800
Q2 weapons: 33x175=5775
Q1 weapons: 66x147=9702

Now we must find the total cost of gold spent which means including the wellness packs used. This is the formula I used for gold spent: Total Costs=(No of weapons*2 gold)+10 golds of weapons

Therefore; . Total Cost: Total Damage:
Q5= 25g 2250
Q4= 32g 2640
Q3= 46g 3800
Q2= 74g 5775
Q1= 140g 9702

Now we find the damage per gold ratio of the above:

<strong> For Q5: 1gold/90 DMG
For Q4: 1gold/82.5 DMG
For Q3: 1gold/82.6 DMG
For Q2: 1gold/78 DMG
For Q1: 1gold/69.3 DMG</strong>

There for as you can see, buying more expensive weapons in the fist place actually reduces the total cost in the long run. And therefore it is more cost effective to buy fewer more expensive weapons then alot more cheap weapons.
