An Update From Your Government -- Reforms Here

2 Day 814, 23:20 Thailand
Changes are Still Needed

We have seen a lot of reforms in the past two weeks or so as we have tried to make Thailand a better country to live in. Many of these reforms have been good ideas, but we must make sure to tweak them to be not only more efficient, but easier to handle for our administrators. This news article will lay an outline for these reforms and the best way to get them done. Today I will comment on Military Reform. Tomorrow, I will cover more Immigration Reform.

Continued Military Reform

We just had our first battle. There were many problems that we encountered. Luckily, all of these problems have solutions. Here is a list of changes I would like to make:

- Money Packs: Instead of issuing Moving Tickets and Weapons, we issue a money pack to all of our citizens instead of distributing these items. They will then buy what they need off the marketplace. After a battle, each company commander will take note of whether or not they fought (2 MTs) and how many battles (? guns), then issue them another Money Pack to cover those exact costs. Whether or not they will buy those guns from RR Corp or from other corporations is yet to be seen.

- Streamlined Operation: I have already transferred the company over to the new organization. Each time the MIT is deployed to a battle, one new article will be opened under this format. Voting up will have to be quick. After the battle ends, that same news article will be changed to be a Statistics Article. That way we won't clutter up the News Media. MIT Officers will also be in charge of doing in depth statistical reporting.

- A Clear, Understood Deployment Policy: Now, we must focus on making sure that we can be flexible with our deployment without running low on resources. The next few days will be spent training our officers on how to use the company, as well as build up money and iron reserves. For the foreseeable future, we will only be deploying for one day only and only in situations where we are defending original territories.

In Other News

- A large group of Eastern Europeans have asked to move here. We are carefully considering their offer.
- Things are heating up in China once more as Russia is launching a full scale invasion of them.
- We have a new chat room, #eThai on the Rizon Server.

I think that you're some amateur because you have no idea about the real problems that we all have to live with, here in eRepublic. No vote, sorry.

Watch out for PTOs, guys. In eMalaysia, our MoI just established a "Quota System" to prevent PTOing. She established a limit to the number of immigrants from any one country per month (I think it was 7 per country per mounth), with a tighter limit on certain frequent offender countries, like eIndonesia, eSerbia, & eHungary. Mabey you guys could look into something like this.
