An INVITATION to e-LIBERATION

Live Sharp Look Smart

Given the SFP's recent ascendancy over those revisionist pretenders in the "Workers" Party, I thought this might be a good time to re-print part of the current SFP Program.
As noted, this is not a "litmus test" for membership, rather some thoughts on how to transform the game. After that, I included some of my own somewhat randomized ramblings.

ENJOY!!

An INVITATION from the Socialist Freedom Party

The Socialist Freedom Party (join us!) is partying for e-Freedom! Our quest is for e-Liberation for all players! We believe that giving away free stuff is fun. So we offer arms, food, houses, jobs, and help to players as much as we can.

We are voluntarist anarcho-syndicalists and democratic socialists with an open, revolutionary and progressive point of view. You don't need to agree with everything in this program to join us or to work with us. This Program is not a political litmus test; it is a fluid manual -- a lab book -- for thinking about how to transform the game.

The door to freedom is open. Merge your game with the SFP's. Come dine with us! Dance with us! Play with us! Ride into battle with us! Change the e-World with us!

SIX POINTS of SOLIDARITY

1) Mutual Aid and Freedom

SFP is a tribe of global players with a common interest in freedom.

We seek to lead our e-societies to enact policies that embrace fairness and mutual aid. Leaders, parties, players, militias and governments who are fair, open and caring about the players; winning our backing rather than demanding it.

We insist that full liberty for all leads to maximum fun. Let every voice be free! Let the spirit of every conversation be open. In a crazy-quilt world of players playing play-war, we choose to focus on building community.

2) Fair Play

Revolutionary fair play requires grace, accountability and transparency. A good government ensures well-being. It offers arms, food, jobs, houses and fun and keeps clean books!

Intolerant only of intolerance, we advocate for absolute freedom of speech in a society that recognizes the dignity of all players and itself plays fair, where leaders are liable and the e-books accounting for our collective CC's are square and fair.

3) Democratic Good Times

Creating alliances and mutual defense pacts enhances global community, but real unity of purpose derives legitimacy only from the peoples' approval. That's genuine liberty.

Authority that fails to please the citizens also fails to open players' hearts and to free their minds from mental slavery. So we keep pushing for enhancing power from below.

No old farts, special cliques or big whales should have an inherent right to all the goodies of the game. Cronyism, elitism, segregation and plutocracy are boring and ultimately counter-productive.

4) Revolutionary Leadership

It may be necessary at times to rant, to rave, and even to revolt, but it is construction not destruction that brings true progress. Better to propose smart ideas and build decent institutions, clearly, in the open.

Revolutionary leaders do not need extravagance and boasting to be social. "Everything for everyone and nothing for ourselves" is our sense of legitimacy.

Politicians and warlords who profit from their position and call the waaaah-bulance anytime they are questioned are just sad clowns.

5) Promote Power From Below

True radicals propose, not impose. Big choices are discussed in the open so that all the great whimsical camaraderie can be shared and transparent, and good governance roles are rotated around to keep things cool.

Let's communize information. Let's always be training new leaders. Let's put more social into socialism. Power-from-below trumps power-from-above; that's what keeps the free in freedom. Cruelly trolling people with whom one disagrees is not only bad manners; it is anti-fun.

6) Do Good Work

Here's a few good ideas to work on...

Don't over-feed a bloated war reserve. Channel CC's into citizen welfare too, because an engaged citizenry is the best army. Avoid petty useless wars. Abandon imperialism. Promote e-wars that increase freedom and fun.

Push the boundaries. Write freely. Share info. Invent fun things for players to do.

Embrace democracy, reject rubber-stamping. Regularly debug government agencies and programs. Be bold! Get indignant! Oppose oligarchy. Create equal opportunity for all. And do it liberally, like a pro, in the open.

Engage in regular thoughtful tweaking of tax policy monthly, transparently.

Think big. Seek to turn the political will of all players in all the nations of the New World onto a road towards mutual and individual e-liberation!

And here, just to try stir up some shit, are some additional thoughts....

It is a false trope. A Super Man's power degenerates and a woman weeps? But without the degeneration of power, we'd be frozen in a hellish e-universe with no meaning.

"Mom, wherever there's a cop beatin' a guy
Wherever a hungry newborn baby cries
Where there's a fight 'gainst the blood and hatred in the air
Look for me Mom I'll be there
Wherever there's somebody fightin' for a place to stand
Or decent job or a helpin' hand
Wherever somebody's strugglin' to be free
Look in their eyes Mom you'll see me."

Strengthen the e-proletarian revolutionary trend!
WOOT-WOOT! SHAKE YOUR BOOT! THE PROLETARIANS HAVE GOT THE LOOT!

Join the Socialist Freedom Party!

The SFP.... we've got this!

ALL PLAYERS HAVE THE RIGHT TO...
Build their own destiny.
Create and to self-create.
Step in and intervene when player progress is threatened.
Call upon the solidarity of e-society to put an end to maneuverings of those endowed with any kind of authority.

ALL PLAYERS HAVE THE RIGHT TO play on and make light of the actions and the values of the Old World.

I scramble all the names and the combinations.

'n penetrate the walls of explanation.

A revolutionary attitude is decidedly not a sort of aristocratic conviction that revolutionary militancy is first an absolute mental break, followed by spitting on oneself and performing an internal purge. And at the same time "working hard" is a form of "disappearing" that is completely opposed to the antagonistic type of attitude that is absolutely necessary for an e-revolutionary class to exist and to construct itself. Particularly, but not exclusively, within a fantasy world like eRepublik, having a "revolutionary attitude" is fundamentally a psychological and even an aesthetic message more so than a political one.

In an ad hoc e-world, rebel hermeneutics, which is to say "revolutionary rules of thumb", become something like a philosophy of the interpretative character of e-truthiness. It develops as and within and in the course of resistance to objective philosophical structures and oppressive political actions. The dominating e-classes, which includes Admin, always work to conserve and leave unquestioned the established order of the e-world. And it is worth noting that the dominant meme of this "natural" and even "mechanical" conservatism is in fact a very liberal realism.

John Wayne was jeered and booed by injured veterans at a hospital in Hawaii, exactly because they knew he was a fake who had never actually seen combat. A culture of illusion reduces a society to the level and dependency of children. It infantalizes. And it impoverishes language. In this world of illusion, those who do not lie become "unreal". To confront these illusions within the contemporary space of e-politics, to puncture the Lie by exposing the cruelty and stupidity of the e-corporate state, signals a loss of faith. One is not only a critic, but an apostate.

And finally, since I was told this is the only right way to end an article, here is a picture of some naked boobies...
