An endorsement and an olive branch of sorts

Day 377, 20:22 Published in Thailand Thailand by Jack Roberts

After giving it some further thought the past few days, Ive decided Im definitely not running in December no matter what. Ive decided to support Korbin King because of many factors, #1 experience in politics, #2 large name recognition in the e-world (which could lead to further recruiting of citizens), and #3 a proven history in politics of zero corruption.

I think he will do a fine job of leading Thailand towards continued growth and economic stability and I hope to see Thailand come out in droves and vote this election.

Antonio, despite my current suspicious nature towards you, I do feel that given time and by continuing to demonstrate your willingness to put Thailand first above your party...you could actually win an election by a majority (receiving votes from parties other than TNT and Nobelis). My suspicions are what they are, I make no bones about them, and the way I look at it is, you made this bed given your past, and now you have to bear the burden of attempting to prove yourself as trustworthy. Its a hard pill to swallow because I really do want to believe you, and I think we've had some good talks about things other than the game...and I dont think you are an "evil" person like Rockman attempted to roleplay. And I think you expected a lot of this negativity because of your past and I think you've handled it well.

Regardless, if you do win the presidential seat, despite my supporting KK, well I hope you prove us who didnt trust you wrong. I hope you turn out to be a fine president and you continue to lead Thailand towards stability and greatness.

In the end, while this is a game, its a bit more than that...as you do catch glimpses of people's IRL character/morality. Yes we can choose to act out and alienate others, but in the grand scheme of things, it is those who cooperate together that "win". It requires strangers to work together to build a nation from the ground up...and I hope Thailand's citizens dont lose focus of that. I hope we continue to build this nation regardless of who are next president is.

To all candidates good luck. I will write one more article to simply thank those who helped me during this term and then change the name of the paper once again...perhaps to Thailand's Grouchy Hermit. 😉
