Understandable reasoning, sorry that you feel the need to leave. I don't believe it is a case where the senate didn't like you (well it wasn't for me anyway), it was more a case of, if something happens, we will be up shit creek. Very few comments in the senator forum were negative about you, only about the activity this month, and as such we felt the need for a CP who was going to be there to make the calls when required.

It probably didn't help that most of your departments went quiet as well, and as no notification of your absence was provided, we could not assume that you would be able to return mid-term to resume your responsibilities, and such the impeachment was put forward.

Personally, even though I started the impeachment discussion, I still voted for you in the CP race, I think you are a smart player who is committed to eAus, and I was confident you would do well. If things had not come up at work as you describe, I have little doubt you would have been an excellent CP.

I hope you decide to stay, but I understand if you choose to leave completely or just have a break from the game.

It's a shame that your Cabinet was not able to take over and remain busy while you were attacked by RL. Just a couple of articles from the DoD or dCP would have gone a long way to preventing the Impeachment.

20 hours a week is casual employment. Your hours would not jump to 70 hours a week. Not with Woolworths anyway - it would be illegal for starters, and while employers probably push the boundaries, Woolworths would not - they are too big, and they don't need to.

Well to be fair it does seem weird that senate decides inactivity is impeachment worthy when nothing of note is currently happening yet Gatto gets off despite breaking promises on funding O.A.A, blocking Poland, insulting TWO and general racism. With no action from Indonesia I would have thought waiting the ten days would have been the solution but at the end of the day it doesn't need Government to make a country active in the media..we all play a part.

Like MickSkitz said it was an inactive cabinet (article wise) that was the downfall mainly and to be honest you shouldn't take it personally and leave the game or it will look like you left because of the Impeachment. Take a sabbatical, come back and then kick ass again.

I've never been a fan of forum rules over in game rules. All you need is a dodgy CP who steals and have a friend in Congress just declare illegal Impeachment proposals twice and it will keep him in power for the month because Congressmen will be told to keep him in office because the Impeachment votes are illegal.
