An Amazing Team of Superheros :P
Nosyt
Well here it is citizens. Election Day. Every 5th, you fine people vote on whom you feel is best fit to lead the executive government of this nation. But what many people often fail to realize is that when you vote, you vote not only for one person, but for an entire team of people who will work together to administer this country. The Canadian Social Democrats have decided to endorse Jacobi, not only because we have confidence in his leadership, but also because of the magnificent cabinet which he has carefully assembled.
Minister of Public Safety
1ronman
1ronman is one of Canada’s oldest hero’s. He’s been a great asset to our country in this war. Without his brilliant plans and hard work, Canada would likely be a goner right now. Plus he’s undoubtedly the best forum administrator we’ve ever had.
Minister of Foreign Affairs
Derek Harland
Banach (Deputy)
Derek Harland. An active member of eCanadian society, he’s been acting as MoFa for the past week now, and already we have 11 new ambassadors, and several more on the way. With the amazing Banach at his side (really, Banach is amazing) Canada will become well know in the diplomatic realm.
Minister of Defense
Gaidal Cain
A long time CAF member and officer, he is well versed in warfare, and has devoted endless hours to keeping this country safe.He has done an excellent job keeping congress up-to-speed and supplying our troops when they need it. His advice is golden, and his devotion is astounding.
Minister of Health
Emilio Sanchez
The founder of the Canadian Health Care program, he’s held the position, since. During these hard times, the need for wellness has increased. Emilio has always run the CHS effectively, and thanks to his efforts, Canadians enjoy the social benefit of subsidized gifts.
Minister of Immigration & Citizenship
Tyler F Durden
This should have been a no brainer. Tyler F. Durden may be new, but he’s contributed more to Canada than most of us. Many of you probably know him, because he organized the move of countless Canadians stuck in foreign territory back where they belong. As a Minister, one can only imagine what he’ll be capable of accomplishing.
Minister of Industry
Citizen B
CitizenB is one of the most active players in this game, which is a vital asset for the MoI. In addition he has always been concerned about the employment of us Canadians. I’m confident that the good man will be more than capable of operating the government industries sufficiently.
Minister of Finance
Dean22
The economic mastermind of the country, Dean has and should continue to serve this country at what he does best. The man doesn’t miss any details, which is what one would want from a Minister of Finance, lest our precious assets be misplaced. His recent plan to wage economic warfare should commence shortly, and when it does, I feel sorry for the poor country he targets.
Minister of Communication
William Duncan
Recently his articles have been the best morale boosters around. His clever way with words and sense of patriotism will be needed to act as a voice from the government to the people.
Minister of National Revenue
Moffington
The man who is behind the establishment of our gold reserves before the war, Moffington is dedicated to what he does. His bookkeeping has provided congress with the accountability we have long waited for, and it would be a shame to see him leave office.
Minister of Justice
Scorpius
Law breakers beware! Scorpius has been keeping a watchful eye out on the country, and any who dare to endanger our country by defying our laws will be brought to justice by, none other than the minister of justice.
Auditor General
Petz
For those of you who don’t know Petz, he’s always the first to pick up on an error and complain about it. With him around, your federal government is certain to always be in tip top shape,
Minister of Heritage and Official Languages
Christian Doe
I swear, the man’s English is better than my own, and his French is superb! An active member of both the Francophone and Anglophone communities here in eCanada, he will be more than capable in filling in the deep gap between languages.
So remember, a vote for Jacobi is actually a vote for all these cool guys 😉

When the day comes that I become enslaved by the Huns, I know which bastards to thank.
Add Kelly Mahoney to that list. She reminded us that Huns don't take long weekends or recognize New Brunswick Day.
Jacobi For The Epic Fail
Jacobi FTW (im assuming this is to eliminate stupid CEP spam right?)
Indeed 😃
Whats FTW?

Is it just me or does this article contain the 3 heads of the CSD saying FTW like 20 times?
tehehe
mwahahaha
There is a need for real change in the way eCanada is run, and these proposed positions are not it.
- No Minister should also hold a seat on congress.
- Is there a need for a Minister of Finance and a Minister of National Revenue?
- Is there a need for a Minister of Health and a Minister of Public Safety?
An overhaul of the government and all 'ministries' and appointed positions need to be revisited and reworked.
eCanada needs change, but deep down I feel it is too late to save her now.
-Viva la Resistance!
Actually holding a ministry and congress position is great, since it allows for the legislative and executive branch to function together more properly. Minister of national revenue is good because we have somebody focusing on making money, and another focusing on handling it, which are two entirely different concepts. The public safety position is actually very important, it's basically like a second MoD, except, with more perks, which is what they need to guarantee safety. And from what I've seen, Ironman has been awesome 😃 However, the Minister of Health, I'll agree, is unnecessary, but the CHS is Emilio's baby, and nobody has the heart to take it from him lol
And it's never too late to save the country. Jacobi has already drawn up plans for an underground government, which will function on the official forums, and will one day return Canada to our original state 😉
Actually, the reason why there is a legislative branch and an executive branch is to ensure that there is no conflict of interest.
They are separate bodies for very good reason.
Diversified Manufacturing is correct.
Thats why Obama had to resign from the Senate to run for President.
So would ANYone leaving one body politic for the other.
This is from the White House's website:
"To ensure that no person or group would amass too much power, the founders established a government in which the powers to create, implement, and adjudicate laws were separated. Each branch of government is balanced by powers in the other two coequal branches: The President can veto the laws of the Congress; the Congress confirms or rejects the President's appointments and can remove the President from office in exceptional circumstances; and the justices of the Supreme Court, who can overturn unconstitutional laws, are appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate."

As a a former congressmember, I know it's actually very nice when ministers are also congress members. That means they have to participate in discussion, and we can work together. In eCanada, legislative and executive are two separate bodies, but they share similar responsibilities, as such when the two don't work in harmony, it's impossible for progress to be made. As stated by Kelly Mohoney
"I've always considered it a triumph of democracy to have been both selected by the general public of the game in open elections, to congress, and to be offered a cabinet position. That to me suggests that the system is working, rather then not working. After all, in real life Canada, the cabinet consists of persons selected from a widely elected parliament. "
Yes, well...as you said, "it's very nice".
That doesn't change my position.
We agree to disagree.
C'est la vie.
Most certainly 😃
What are you doing with the CSD gold Nosyt?
Only thing you can do with it is advertise, no?
Will there be a CSD *if eCanada falls?
Yes, Party gold can only be used as advertisments. If we are conquered however, the CSD will continue to exist, just in France. And the only way to get it back is if Canada conquers all of France 😒
However, the gold will remain, and if we are conquered, I'll find a way to spend it. We're also considering selling ads, then donating the revenue to the government.
But to run in eFrench politics, you'd have to have eFrench citizenship.
You'd stand to lose the party to any single eFrench citizen who ran for PP.
You think eFrance is going to offer citizenship to us all?
Not that I'd take it...but they'd be fools to
That is of course unless Ontario is flipped from eFrance to eUK or eHungary or eIran...
yes, which is why if we're conquered, the money is out of there 😃
Why not just do a Global ad campaign that'll last for at least a week and suck up the money? The ad can be changed at any time - to any market as well.
You could run ads in all Occupied Territories informing those left behind about Resistance progress...
It's really a tough decision what to do with the money, but I'd rather discuss it with the party members before making a decision (cuz I'm just that kinda PP 😛)
