So Far, So Good
Okay, last month we got me elected to Congress, and yesterday we nailed down some continuity by re-electing me Party President. Okay, so I ran unopposed-- but 11 out of 15 members voted, and 73% activity is not bad.
Just a side note: the big Parties have lower percentages of voting members in the PP election than the small Parties. This is an indication that while we "Sixth Party" people are fewer in numbers we are certainly dedicated to our less popular causes.
We also gained a few new members-- almost double what we had a couple days before the election-- a sign that our ideals are reasonable enough for people to commit to.
These are indicators.. they're potential in motion. The American Military Party can be something serious, and on the heels of minor successes we'd better make a couple critical moves toward our future if we expect to have one.

The Ten Day Countdown Begins
July 25 is the next Congressional election.
I expect to be running again, probably in Oklahoma. I've contacted the Federalists and asked that they run Dave Richards again because he is well qualified and we could use a man like him in Congress, but to not run him against me. Congress needs both of us in there working for America.

The AMP has three other members who have expressed interest in running for Congress. I've notified the USWP and have been assured that all four AMP candidates will be run under their banner.
I'll be presenting the other AMP candidates here in the next few days. I'm asking each of them to write a paragraph or two introducing themselves to the Party and to America, for inclusion in that forthcoming article.

You can get a head start on knowing one of our candidates here, at his own newspaper.

Volunteer to be a Blocker
I have also notified both the USWP and the Federalists that the AMP wishes to provide "blockers" to fill slots on the anti-ATO chart.
There are five slots available in each voting region, any slot left unfilled is a slot an enemy PTO'er can take, then their confederates and multis can elect that renegade to Congress. In May there were three such enemies in our midst, and together they approved citizenship requests of dozens of Phoenix agents. In June the chart was covered, and no enemy agents were elected to Congress.
By having AMP members volunteer to help in this capacity, to quit our Party and join another for the duration of the election and sport a &quot😉on't Vote for Me, I'm a Blocker" avatar, we show by our actions that we are dedicated to America and are willing to serve in whatever capacity we can.
This shows that AMP members are serious, that the American Military Party is serious.

The AMP is an "also" not an "instead."
"We are dedicated to..." You see that sentence at the top and bottom of every one of my articles.
But that doesn't mean that members of other Parties are not also patriotic or pro-Military.
It doesn't mean that our members don't hold to the same tenets set forth by other Parties, either.
You can do both.
In fact, at election time, as described above, members of the AMP must do both.
We have to quit the AMP and join a Top Five Party in order to be run for Congress or for President.
We have to quit the AMP and join a Top Five Party in order to hold a "blocker" slot on the ballot.
In the past, I have had to ask friends, members of other Parties, to cover AMP Party President while I have been out.
Our Military branches are not political, they don't fight harder for this President or that Party, they fight for America.
The AMP is a statement, that the American People support our military, that we expect them to have solid representation in Congress. America pays damn high taxes and expects a damn good piece of that to go to funding our Military, and the AMP is here to put Soldiers into Congress to be sure that happens.

Our Vice President says Congress sucks.
Well, it's up to you to change that.
Become active in your Political Party, make sure they're sending active and competent people to Congress.
Get on the Boards, post to the threads, let Congress know what you think and tell Congress what you want.
Watch how Congress members are talking and how they're voting, and vote out the malletheads who are not listening to you.

Join the The American Military Party
Members are welcome to download the "corner size" AMP graphic to incorporate into their avatar.
