America attacks Liaoning – Special Edition [12h to go]

USA attacked Liaoning, Serbia.

This article is formed from three parts. The first one explaining the backgrounds of the region and the conflict, the second one undergoing the tactics behind the recent attacks on several nations in order to get a tactical advantage over the surroundings of Liaoning and the third one being a constantly updated battle follow-up.

The most important battle of all times has been started. After reaching the perfect tactical circumstances, the United States in cooperation with Eden have launched an attack against Serbia, a Phoenix superpower forcefully holding the region of Liaoning. This is a must-win battle for Phoenix. Liaoning is completely isolated from friendly territory and despite Serbia having a foothold in Pakistani regions, clearing a path through China and her 9 MPP😒 is virtually impossible. Losing this battle will mark the end of the Serbian golden age.
Captured by Serbia in mid February by using the longest land bridge ever constructed, stretching through 5 nations, Liaoning has later became the heart of the Serbian society. Serbia has succeeded in something USA has not, which is underlining the importance of an external iron colony. During the times when Heilongjiang was still Hungarian, the population of Liaoning reached over 6,000, double the amount in Karnataka. Today, when HLJ is Chinese and Hungarian government ordered their citizens working in the land sector to move to Serbia instead of over capacitating the withering grain industry, the population of Liaoning reaches 11,000, making it the fifth populated region in the world and the biggest region outside of one’s original borders.

As all iron regions are important, Liaoning doesn’t differ from them, being the lifeline of the nation owning it. I made a special article about the economic impact of Liaoning, but just two figures taken out from it will outline the vast importance of the region. 8,4% of the GDP of the biggest 5 Phoenix nations is produced in Liaoning. In a single region. A stunning amount of 28,5% of Serbia’s GDP is produced there. Taking it away will strike a deadly blow on the largest Phoenix nation, something Eden is extremely eager to do.

Russia fails to block USA at the final moment.

The pressure was added towards Liaoning five days ago as the bottleneck region of Shandong, required to stay under U.S control in order to start the war declaration, was left under U.S observation so long that Serbia was freed from blocks and attacked the region. Fortunately for Eden, a RW was started just before, and as it succeeded, Shandong returned to China. Two days from there, USA tried to swap back, and the President attacked Shandong only to notice that a RW was started 2 seconds before, making the attempt futile and exposing USA😒 plans. USA has resided in the region ever since, with Romania and India carrying out blocking attacks on Serbia to prevent them from attacking. This constant threat of attack has kept the Serbian community on their toes for many days. Reports say their army forces were ordered to be on alert at daychange five times in row without an attack coming. This tells us that Serbia truly recognizes the value of Liaoning and will fight tooth and nail to preserve it.

As USA withdrew from Southern Thailand and Mindanao, getting clear from Indonesian blocking, they were given free hands to initiate the attack whenever they wanted as long as Serbia was blocked. Phoenix tried to flip the situation a few hours before the attack on Liaoning by trying to transfer Russia in to the Corean Peninsula to border Shandong. This required several attacks, including an attack on Far Eastern Region to open a war between North Korea and South Korea, giving Eden enough time to respond. A Eden official was sent to Geyonggi-Do, a SK region occupied by North Korea and bordering Shandong. Russia was meant to claim this region swiftly and block USA, but Eden avoided disaster by initiating a RW just before the Russian attack, making the effort futile.

This opened the doors for Eden to set the battle to be started whenever they liked. The battle was preceded by worldwide anticipation, with IRC-channels bustling and troops being set in to combat readiness. During the past week, Serbia has mentioned the danger of coming under attack every day in their battle orders and has ran campaigns advising individual citizens to hoard Gold against the upcoming attack instead of spending it on Lana.

So it begins.

On Day 916 at 18:43 eTime, Harrison Richardson pushed the button and started the attack. The battle was started at 3:48 Serbian time, allowing USA to take advantage of the time zones. Serbia faces USA alone with no MPP-backing, turning this battle in to a clash of the titans. Both sides are expected to receive immense help from allies, as the battle effectively seals the fate of Phoenix in case it’s lost.

The invasion might not end at Liaoning. Croatia is expected to attack against Hungary, possibly companied by Poland and Romania. Phoenix on the other hand has wider range of options to attack. France might hit Spanish colonies, Brazil might start a damage-sucking attack on South Africa and if Phoenix decides to play it hard, France and Germany might attack Canada and Sweden, who they have excessive MPP😒 against.

12 hours left, no drastic movements.

As the day unfolded in Europe, the battle for Liaoning got the attention it deserves. All major Phoenix and Eden nations are ordering their citizens to move in to either Serbia or USA, many of them handing out free equipment as well. After 12 hours of fighting it is crystal clear that this battle shall surpass Rhone Alps for the title of the largest battle fought by two individual nations. If Eden decides to try and win the battle at the very end, the battle might very well surpass the battle for Central Hungary as well, rising to be the biggest battle ever. Eden has used thousands of Gold more than their adversaries, as the mere initiating cost is nearly 3000G. As expected, USA was able to reduce the wall to Suburbia during their prime time while Serbians were sleeping, but the server change didn’t offer much surprise as the mobile forces of the alliances effectively compensated each other, not doing much harm to the wall. Serbia was set to fight against a 700k disadvantage, and they are currently doing it well as the wall is merely in border region and near the secure line after 12 hours of fighting.

The Serbian prime time will last expire when roughly 5 hours of the battle is still waiting to be fought. They hand the ball over to the American populace, obliged to reduce the wall enough so Allied tanks will have an advantage over Serbia’s at the final moments of the battle.
