Always in eJapan

Day 549, 14:40 Published in Japan Denmark by Oraizan

Just want to remind the public that I am up for Congress in Kanto!

Questions
I am sad that nobody ever asks me questions about my Platforms and such. I was all excited to be answering your questions last term, but I had no questions. Am I thorough? I dont know. Don't be scared to ask questions!

Platform
Many of you I am sure have come to know me and my beliefs, whether agreeing with them or not. I will give a small introduction of what it is.

Military; I am a follower of Geno Garon on this one. I have been part of the reformation of the new Military application, and I would love to see it flourish. As the OP, I believe in it being well funded by the government.

Companies; I don't like government funded companies. I believe that companies should be run by the citizens, because it is not a great place to put our tax money.

Congress; I personally think Congress is a giant book. You learn how to be good in the position, but doing it. You cannot go into it being 100% the most perfect person for the job.

Any of my past articles for Congress this term or last can be found here on my wiki, and other imformation about myself.

I hope that this next term I can continue on learning and working for eJapan. I am very glad to have been given the chance this term, and I promise not to let you down in the next term.

If you would like to know anything else, please just let me know!

Busy
I have a huge project worth 30% of my grade due Wednesday, so for this weekend I will not be a Workaholic. No, I will just be a regular worker. I will still put regular time into my duties, but please keep in mind that I cannot sit here and answer questions all weekend because of IRL responsibilities.

I was also standing for 9 hours today looking after children, so I apologize if this update is not extensive.

Secretary
I have reviewed all of the submissions on the Empress Day quiz. Thank you to those many who filled it out!

So far I have seen that many people are happy with the setup of Empress Day. The majority wants to have the holiday every month, and they want to see more stories and quizzes. We will take the person who won second place (Yui) to be the Empress for June, and then July after presidential elections we will re-vote.

Some people expressed considerate feelings for those who write the articles. I am glad to see that eJapan does not want to put stress on people! Writing an article once a month should be fine though, if it was once a week that would be stressful.

I will continue my Japanese lessons as I get a chance. I encourage anybody to correct me, as I am also only an amateur typing up my notes from when I was in Japan!

Many more people have been active. I would like people to think now about if they would like to write an article for June's Empress Day. I would love some new writers to join in on the fun!

Japanese
I do not have alot of time to type up many of my notes. So instead, I am going to give you all a quick fill on what Hiragana is.
"Hiragana is a kana system, in which each character represents one mora. Each kana is either a vowel such as "a" (あ); a consonant followed by a vowel such as "ka" (か); or "n" (ん): a nasal sonorant which, depending on the context, sounds either like English m, n, or ng (IPA: [ŋ]), or like the nasal vowels of French."

Here is a link to a picture which has the Hiragana symbols, it shows which symbol is related to which Romanji Characters. It is a very good way to start learning how to read Hiragana. (note, the chart can be a little confusing, so feel free to ask questions!)

Sometimes it can be used as 'Furigana' and put in for foreigners to understand what some Kanji mean. If you ever get lost in Japan, you can easily ask them to write directions in Hiragana!

Lots of love to eJapan
Oraizan~

P.S; Sorry, this was shorter then I thought it would be...
