Alliances everywhere, but where is this heading and why?
Roger Griswald
With today's announcement from PANAM's Secretary General regarding the alliance's first major clash with the other newly forming alliance New World Order, I wanted to provide a bit of an explanation on these new alliances and a bit of analysis on the where they are heading.
An overview of the two:
PANAM (soon to be renamed)
a proposed new PANAM logo (why is that bee there and why is it stinging eArgentina)
PANAM was created around mid December 2010, after eBrazil left Phoenix. Following their exit, eBrazil signed a MPP with the eUSA, later this grew into PANAM with eArgentina (also a former Phoenix Member) and eJapan (part of the Brolliance with the eUSA). In Late January, eCanada joined on a conditional basis pending the ratification of a charter deemed acceptable to its Congress. In Early February, eFrance joined joined the alliance with much hesitation. eTurkey joined on the 8th of February 2011 after ratification, however the actual eNation of eTurkey is currently wiped off the map by eGreece.
The alliance was the brainchild of the eUSA, who aimed to forged a new alliance and put an end to the long standing Pheonix/EDEN conflict.
the PANAM alliance as it currently stands
New World Order (NWO)
not the official logo
The NWO was a concept forged in the wake of eBrazil leaving Pheonix and positioning to form a new alliance with the eUSA. It was at that time that the Pheonix alliance began to completely crumble. With the implementation of the natural enemy provision, the added benefits to the largest eNations in battles, made them relatively impossible to defeat. It was from this realisation that four of the five most experienced eNations began to contemplate a new alliance of the strongest armies in the eWorld. The alliance officially became an alliance following the exit of eSerbia, eIran and eHungary from Pheonix and ePoland from EDEN. ePoland's closest ally eSpain has since joined the newly formed alliance. There are also rumours that eSwedan has joined the alliance, however I can find no concrete evidence that this is the case.
the NWO alliance as it currently stands
Where will the alliances go from here:
As the eWorld is generally divided up into several mini-alliances based on economic and military cooperation, there are a couple of eNations that, once they decide which alliance to join, several others will follow suit. It is also important to understand that one of the reasons the NWO was formed was to avoid the larger eNations having to babysit smaller and less organised ones, which indicates that NWO will likely be picky about their additions.
The largest eNation not currently in one of the two new alliances is eRomania, who is sticking with EDEN for the time being. However, given their hostility to eHungary will likely fall into the PANAM camp. With this move, eCroatia (who hates Serbia), eUkraine, eBiH, and the all important eChina (for timezone purposes) will likely follow eRomania into PANAM.
eIndonesia has also yet to choose a side, though she has been asked by both. The eNation's long friendship with eBrazil and eArgentina will be a large determining factor for them, however given their extreme dislike for the eUSA, will likely join NWO. eRussia and eSlovenia are expected to follow suit.
In the southern Balkans a war has been waging between eGreece, eTurkey, eBulgaria and eRepublic of Macedonia(FYROM) for months. The conflict has slowed for now as eTurkey has found itself in a precarious situation. They are now members of PANAM and facing off against their new allies'; the eUSA and eCanada's; very good friend eGreece. As PANAM would be greatly strengthened by both eGreece and eBulgaria, the situation will play a key role in eGreece and eBulgaria choosing their future alliance, however given their dislike with eSerbia (and its satellite eNation eRepublic of Macedonia(FYROM)), they will likely fall into the PANAM camp.
Of the remaining “big 20” eNations (in total XP) only the eUK and eGermany have not been contemplated. These two eNations have historically been very close allies of eFrance and would naturally gravitate in the same direction, especially given the eUK's recent positive relations with eCanada (just wrapped up a training war). However, recent agreements that the two have made for land-swaps with eSerbia indicates that they will likely not commit to either side in the short term and merely observe how the alliances stack up. However, this strategy will only work for as long as the two emerging super-alliances allow them to remain neutral.
Conclusion:
Once everyone settles into place, the alliances will likely be quite similarly matched, with an experience advantage to NWO, however timezones will play a lot into any future conflicts between the two with PANAM simply dominating prime time in North and South America and NWO holding a significant advantage over European prime time.
eCanadian Chewytaz has calculated some number of strength levels of each alliance here. Worth checking out.

Indeed.
roger another great article
Answer for your question about the PANAM logo:
"As of 2002, the Africanized honeybees had spread from Brazil south to northern Argentina and north to Central America, Trinidad (West Indies), Mexico, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Florida, and southern California."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Africanized_bee
Brazil and Argentina - the source of africanized killer bees...hence the reason why the bee is stinging Argentina and staring into Brazil as they spread northward. It's such a crazy theory it has to be trufax.
They should call it Vespa😛
@ Plugson: simply amazing answer. LMAO
Whip it Turkey!

Alliances, Same Shit, Different Names.
Oh I forgot to mention this very important detail that is completely unrelated yet very important.

Essentially is just the same thing as before, but a bunch of people have changed teams for this round of "Alliance Counterstrike".
it's great that EDEN and PANAM are cooperating, and we will continue to do so, but where did you get the idea that EDEN will disband and go into PANAM????
Solid analysis as always. Thanks!

Excellent article. Great information and very interesting analysis.

Good article.
One question though... Since when exactly is eIran in NWO? Never heard of it.
Voted.
I prefer Greece over Turkey.
Also, I still prefer EDEN over PANAM.
excellent article
vote from belarus!
...so pretty much it's EDEN vs PHOENIX under a new name with some flopped sides. So much for that "third alliance" to end a bi-polar world.
This is p ossom
Will Greece be able to join along with eTurkey? - eGreeks have always been awesome allies.
Despite what deals leadership makes, the improved mobility of citizens (you don't lose your job or have to leave your party to move) will probably mean you will see some individual citizens fight along old alliance lines at times for when there is a real need.
Do you prefer Turkey over Greece?
I don't think so...They are the least reliable e-nation and Turkish politics is a total mess.Anyway ,the die is cast
EDEN is still there!
Croatia, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Finland, Italy are still members of EDEN
EDEN States and Panam states have good cooperation and mutual MPP
Eden good
The Greek/Turkish situation will definetly be a problem for Canada down the line, I personnally know that I will never fire a single round agaisnt Greece or Bulgaria.
This being said, what will happen when PANAM decide to liberate Turkey?
It will be a problem obviously as we will have to choose one side. Or at the very least stay neutral from the conflict. But we do have an MPP with greece.
Considering the fact that ePoland has half s dozen eUS states in a region swap, this could get interesting if ePoland leans toward NWO. Maybe we could get one or two grain regions from the eUSA, replacing ePoland.
@ Chucky Norris: According to the Greek government they are actually open to releasing the turkish regions, in fact they have been attempting to contact the current eTurkish leadership, however their request are apparently going unanswered. I think that there could be a compromised reached, but it will likely need to be eTurkey that relinquishes its old allies, not eGreece.
@Donna Rush: You are absolutely correct, according to Polish sources, they would not attack the eUSA directly and would relinquish the regions when diplomatic ties between the two eNations ends. Not sure if the eUSA would be open to eCanada renting them, but it won't hurt to ask.
PANAM looks like it will get too big
'eSwedan'
If eSweden joins NWO we are going to have at least a year of:
"NWO IS PIG DISGUSTING"
I would appreciate an answer to my comment... you're writing like EDEN is a thing of the past and I really can't see where did you get this idea... kthx...
@BeDva, no offense intended, my article addresses the new alliances, I have in the past written a great deal on the topic of EDEN and within this article I address the fact that some eNations are sticking with EDEN, however it is my opinion that EDEN member-nations will slowly merge into one of these two alliances (likely the majority will join PANAM). Unfortunately for EDEN, the alliance will no longer be able to stand on its own against some of the other alliances, namely NWO.
I am not giving my preference to any alliance over the other, jut laying out the facts as I see them.
The correct question is "why is that WASP there and why is it stinging eArgentina" 😛
Good article, voted
good article
Woar!
When did Canada leave EDEN?
Russia and Poland together? I hate RL in game...but it does exist. I see Russia eventually being forced into the PANAM side officially or unofficially as tensions with Poland mount.
Also, are Canadians really discussing a rental agreement with the US? Hasn't the US been trying to get this done for over a year?
Great article BTW, voted and subed.
that is some fucking awesome face paint
Looks more like the Arg. sun is shining out of the bee's ...
