All Things Wrong With New Era's New Summary

I was reading a New Era article not long ago, where Goku made a brief summary of what New Era wanted for the eUK. I noticed many things in that summary which would not help the eUK, or would not be possible for the eUK to achieve.
What New Era Wanted For The eUK
In case you haven't seen it yet, this is what New Era wanted for the eUK:
1) The Government should organise the whole UK community into fighting at roughly the same times every day, so that we have fun together and have a bigger effect on battles.
2) New players should be provided with the easiest ways to get Gold and Train themselves up. We need "Natural Enemy" Training Wars where we can earn Patriot Medals and a Military Unit with orders set to UK battles. We can also help them to buy new Training Grounds.
3) The UK needs long term aims, hopes and dreams. Our Governments usually stick to short term aims but we believe that we need to look at months and years in the future when planning wars and alliances. One long term aim should be more Weapons Resources.
4) The UK is Rank 29 for number of players and at similar ranks for damage done and money made. Some countries have seven times more people than we do so the Government's first priority must be recruiting more players in the UK from inside and outside of the game.
5) A more united and fairly treated community, where people in charge can't just ban and shout down people and views they don't agree with. Any bans against players on forums or chat room should be publically explained with a chance to appeal.
6) Terrible things have happened in the UKs past from flame wars to rage quits, we would like to heal those divisions and get players back who have left. We will give a Citizenship Pass to any former UK player who wants to return.
7) All decisions made by the UK Government, from why orders are set to a particular battle to why we are signing alliances with a country, should be explained fully in public. Some progress has been made but there is still progress to be made.

Point 1
1) The Government should organise the whole UK community into fighting at roughly the same times every day, so that we have fun together and have a bigger effect on battles.
I imagine it would be fun to see the whole eUK fighting in a battle at once but it would not get us anywhere. Firstly, campaigns can last nearly a whole day. If we fought in just 1 hour of that then we would not be helping ourselves or our allies as our enemies would be fighting all the time, winning most battles.
Secondly, many of our players cannot get online at certain times of the day. Players who can get online at 10pm may not be able to get on at 3pm and vice versa. It would not be possible to get a majority of our community online at once.
We could organise it so that we give out weapons at a certain time to the people who are online... But we already have that, it's called the Strike.
Argentina won one battle, but are losing the campaign. Is this because they all fought at once, in the same battle?
Point 2

Unless I dreamt it, we have just had 2 training wars this month. We had one with Germany and one with Belgium. Also, I'm sure the government is looking at options now for either a training war or a real war. So this point could be in operation now with our current government, meaning New Era wouldn't change anything.
Point 3

More weapon resources? Well, let's at least look at our options.
Ireland - Does not have Saltpeter or Rubber
Poland - One of our greatest allies, we would never attack them
Belgium - Does not have Saltpeter or Rubber
Germany - Does not have Saltpeter or Rubber
Russia - Does not have Saltpeter or Rubber
Canada - Does not have Saltpeter or Rubber
USA - Does not have Saltpeter or Rubber
...
Take about 10 Russian regions then skip over to Turkey where we finally get some Saltpeter after taking 2 or 3 more regions - Success?
We will have to travel here to get some Saltpeter
I think we should leave this option for a while.

New Era could be onto something here. So basically, we need to get a babyboom. I would like to see a New Era article on how they will achieve this, because at the moment I cannot see a lot wrong with it, as long as they have the money to pay for ads.

Are they referring to the time Alphabethis got kicked from a TUP channel? Well, that was understandable because it is the channel for TUP so they do have the right to kick who they want. Or maybe they are talking about the times Goku got kicked and banned from IRC and forums respectively. From what I have heard I find that understandable at the time.
I'm sure we have a better community then other countries in the game, and I haven't been talked down to once in-game or on the forums. I don't use IRC much so I cannot comment on that but I'm sure most people in the eUK are very friendly.
If New Era don't agree with the way the forums and IRC are run then they can start their own chat room, which if better, people will join over time.

Former eUK citizens may be angry. They may hate us. They may want to PTO us. We shouldn't change our current rules for former citizens of the eUK. Any player who we can trust will be let in the eUK, whether they have been in before or not.

We have a sensitive area on the forum for a reason. There are certain things that if released to the public would damage the reputation of the eUK, and put us under major threat. This is just like the previous citizenship pass discussion that went on not long ago, if we say certain things then that would be bad for everyone.
Also, the government makes too many decisions, even one's you didn't know were decisions. If the government was to spend their time saying why they made each decision then they would have no time left to make more decisions. Sometimes, the public can use their initiative to work out why certain things have been done, and other times they wont need to know the reasoning.

Would just like to add to point 3, CC, long-term goals are for long-term governments. Our government potentially changes every month, nullifying any long-term plans if someone left-handed takes over after someone right-handed. What Goku suggests is that a government should make long-term plans, trying to secure long-term governments, at the same time as fighting against people staying in power consecutively and retaining power over time. It's laughable!

I would also like to add this before Goku posts. This is not an attack on New Era, this is just telling you where you went wrong.

His policy of choosing congress by the number of votes & comments in their articles is open to severe abuse as well. If someone were to buy 100 votes and comments for their articles it would likely get them elected, whilst those who are too poor to do so cannot do that. Seems fairly elitist to me, I'll make sure I comment on the articles of those that oppose this move next month : P

Just a few quick ones:
- 2 training wars a month is not good enough. We need permanent UK battles to train our new players.
- More players than just me have been harassed off the forums & IRC
If people buy votes then I take that into account, I am not stupid...
I could have just filled half the slots or more with the elite party leadership like TUP did. I prefered to give active newbies and untested players a chance.

2 (training)wars a month is better then most countries get in this game, and is an improvement for the eUK. A rare few countries which are not under possession from another country get permanent wars.
These anti New Era articles are getting as dull as the New Era ones. Yet another pointless articles dissing another party while offering up nothing new.
On point 5, I'd just like to point out that I was banned from #NewEra as were many others, just because we weren't part of their party!
Rory, its not an anti New Era article. I'm telling them where they went wrong. If New Era realises this is not an attack on them then they will notice that I'm telling them where they have gone wrong and hopefully they can find improvements.
Our list was decided by a new player.
We can't have constant training wars or our allies will not be willing to help us when we need them, as we would be constantly draining their damage from where it is actually needed. I doubt Hungary would have NEd Russia for us if we'd been wasting their damage non-stop in TWs for the last few months.

This is why I am glad you have represented us in Congress - logical analysis presented in a straightforward fashion.
I agree with the majority of your points. People like to think they can score cheap points by pointing out supposed 'flaws' without recognizing that there is usually a reason as to why those things have not come to pass.

1) you are attacking Cheetah so your comment is very hypocritical.
2) Cheetah supported one of your policies which shows all he was really doing was giving his opinion on them and deciding whether he thought they were right or wrong.
3) Cheetah's article seemed very neutral to me.
