All other Interviews are Child's Play (Interview with POTUS Candidates)

Day 1,292, 19:41 Published in USA USA by Paul Proteus

Welcome to Goodbye Blue Monday interview edition

I’ve never actually interviewed someone before so this should be fun :3

So, I am seeing a lack of interviews this month, well maybe I’m not looking, anyway usually interviews with the CP candidates are pretty easy questions with the intention of giving a boost to whatever candidate you want to win, now there are exceptions but usually, interviews this time of year suck. Soo I tried to not ask insanely generic and easy questions, and if I did, I sincerely apologize, anyway, enjoy:

First, let’s interview Pfeiffer, co founder of the Ultramarines and 3 time Presidential Candidate

1) So, this is the third time you’ve run for President in three months, what makes this month different?
Nothing. I haven't made any major changes to my policy plans, and my cabinet is still excellent. The only real difference is that people might be getting tired of Emerick style leadership, in that he's more flash than substance. So, perhaps I'll profit from a bit of buyer's remorse in that.

2) People have noticed that you’ve been “reaching out” to other parties with Gnilraps (Fed PP) as your CoS, Colin Lantrip (War Party PP) as your Vice President and even giving an INCI member the position of Secretary of the Treasury, any words on the matter?
I asked Colin to be my VP when I was still on stand-by because Cerb wasn't sure he could commit. We worked together on the liberation of the AWP, and I think that while we disagree on a few things, the back and forth benefits us both, and makes for good decision making. Gnilraps falls into the same category. We bicker over some policy, but we have the same end goal, in that we want a stronger country. I tapped him for Chief of Staff because, let's be honest, the bench isn't very deep. He's got the raw materials there. He's organized and intelligent, and his media and party work shows that. He's deliberative in his decision making, and that's something I need, because when I rage, I can be impulsive. I've tempered that in recent months, but having two guys like Colin and Gnilraps on board to help keep things running smoothly makes sense. I won the Feds last month, so I expected to be competitive there, Gnilraps' party affiliation was secondary to my need for a CoS I felt could do the job Day 1. Yes, of course it's a factor, but it didn't get him the job. Nor did Colin's status, cause really, the AWP has a crapload of JCS guys in it (or did, or whatever), I am not banking on that endorsement, and never was. Colin's just a good guy.

3) Emerick has been very successful militarily during his term; do you think you will be able to expand on that? Will your experience inside of the terra alliance be of any help? Emerick has been very lucky during his term. Let's get that straight from the beginning. He's had solid people helping him, but he's been extremely lucky. I'm going to try and get us our native regions back, then focus on making Spain bleed a bit. I'm going to work on getting us Iron permanently, which will require opening another front, but that will have to be talked about if I win. I've got an idea, and I think it's doable, just going to need the right circumstances to fall in place. We'll see. And yes, I do think my work in Terra will help. I'm in my third term in Terra HQ...I don't think we've had anyone from the USA in an official role that long in ages. I know all of the major players in the alliance, and they know me. They also know that I help however I can when I'm asked. I've sent the Ultramarines all over to try and hold Terra priorities for them, so they know I'll deliver when pressed. That will help a lot when it's the USA who needs help, which unless something changes overnight on the Spanish front, we will.

Good Luck, and you know what they say, third times the charm 🙂

Now a quick question for Colin Lantrip, Pfeiffer’s running mate and Great Ape.

1) So, in your opinion, what makes this month different than last month and the month before for Pfeiffer?
The main difference is that he'll likely win this time.
Passion and people getting active is what we all want. Some people will be really upset, but it should be a fun month.. shouldn't it? 😃

Next to Glove, former POTUS and article of clothing.

1) It hasn’t been so long since you were President last, what makes you want to run again this time?
We have not had anyone really stand up to the challenge. I would not like an America under Pfeiffer's administration for several reasons, but I also have some personal reasons for running. I always wanted another term, I would have re-run for Election right after my first time but I couldn't due to time constraints. These last couple of month's I've built up the energy to run again and I've been in Emerick's cabinet and Terra HQ so I am well informed on our status as a nation. Basically, I want to finish what I started and create some good memories for all of us.

2) Despite you having previous experience with INCI, they endorsed Pfeiffer, any comments on why?
Well, theres a few reasons. Pfeiffer slurped them hard and he has Colin as his vice president. Colin is well respected by them. Also, many INCI felt unhappy with Emerick as president and since I endorsed/supported him they kind of saw me as a disappointment as well I guess.

3) During the last few months, Emerick has had a very successful term, at least militarily, do you think you would be able to continue or expand on it?
Of course, we have one of the largest and strongest military force in the game. We have many regions from which we can use to our advantage. We have awesome allies and the will to succeed. Currently Spain is inside our nation but this game is cyclical and I don't think it'll be long until we're back on Madrid's doorstep.

What is your opinion on the Power Glove? And Good Luck!

~thanks

And now a quick question for Blank Keating Glove’s running mate and educator to the masses.

1) So, last month you were on board with Pfeiffer running as his Chief of Staff , is Pfeiffer no longer the best choice for President? What changed your mind?
I did and still do think that Pfeiffer makes a good presidential candidate, but I think Glove is a better choice this time around. Glove has been tried and tested already and is already integrated with direction our own foreign affairs and TERRA's goals are going. I'll be voting Glove this time around, but in my opinion, America wins with either of the candidates and I'll be glad to help either one in any capacity I can.

EDIT:
Apparently Pizza the Hut is yet again running for POTUS this month, so I quickly came up with two questions for him

1)So, You've run quite a bit in the past yet you’ve never come that close to winning, and this month you candidated very late in the game, do you believe you can win this month? And if so, what is different this month?
I made this decision ten minutes before the deadline. I had not planned on candidating this month but I believed it was the right decision to make. While Glove is a reasonable and capable individual, I have name recognition and my newly formed party would not have made much of a difference. I believed the best course of action was to offer myself as another alternative to the Turkish PTO led by their puppet Henry Arundel. I believe very much that I can win. Look at my article. It reached 2nd place within hours and will now be among the top few articles until close to the end of Election Day. This article makes a clear case. Arundel, aKa James S. Pfeiffer, is a dangerous individual who threatens the very existence of a free America. The people have seen the evidence that this man does not play honestly, is a PTOer and is working with INCI in order to fundamentally transform our nation to make it virtually unrecognizable. We need a leader who will rebuild our shattered relationship with our allies, unite our people, and lead us to prosperity. I can do that and I ask the American people for their trust.

2) Recently Colin Lantrip became Party President of your party (formerly the ACP), did that affect your decision to run for President?
It certainly did play a part. Colin Lantrip is attached at the hip to Henry Arundel. They both were responsible for this despicable PTO againts an American Party. These two individuals MUST be kept out of power and they have to be contained before their power to control our country spirals out of control. Once again, read my article, and you will see how trustworthy and fair of a player Arundel is. This is who Lantrip keeps company with and works with to PTO our party, ally with INCI, and if they get the chance, to seize the American Presidency.

At the time of writing these questions, In the Morning of Day 1,290, I have been offered no roles in either government so hopefully this will come across as unbiased

Well that about wraps that up

And now for a quick short

Paul for vBAOTUS
Recently a certain Chutley announced his intentions to run for Bad Ass of the United States. Now due to the fact he is getting way more votes per article and has more subs than me, he must be doing something right. And considering people are actually writing articles about why they deserve positions in his Bad Ass Cabinet I thought I might as well join in. So I hereby apply as his Vice Bad Ass of the United States. Why do I think I am right for the job? Three words: Hardworking, Alpha Male, Jackhammer...Merciless, Insatiable.

Stay Sexy,
Paul
