Al Dente's PP candidacy for the DNP
As you may have guessed, I (Al Dente) am back in SK and running for PP now.

What a handsome devil I am
So you say you don't remember me being in SK before, and have no idea who I am? Well that's probably because I was here before you (most of you anyway), back when this was the Theocratic Nation of South Korea. (Just so we're clear I was a Theocrat, and I don't regret it one bit.)
After leaving for Spain during the Theocratic exodus, I eventually wandered off to the Philippines, which is a cool place, and got involved in a few things there. I did keeps tabs on the SK media though, as well as stay active on the forums. I also served as a member of the economic council in SK under Spade, for whatever that's worth.
Anyway, enough about me, on to the platform.
If elected the party will be:
Socialist. While I have no problem running candidates who are not, I would push for more government involvement in the economy, when it can benefit the nation as a whole. I don't advocate nationalizing the economy, for the simple reason that we could never afford to. I do feel that more extensive gifting by the government, and possibly a few good government run companies could do a lot of good.
Pro-worker and pro-consumer. This means working to maximize real wages through correct use of tax policy and government programs.
Pro-military. Because the military is at the heart of the nation, and must always be maintained and strengthened. It is not enough to say that we are a small and, therefore, weak nation. We should do what we can to improve our military capabilities.

Completely unrelated to anything. At all. Ever.
Pro-South Korea. This may seem obvious, but for our country to truly excel we must put the greater good of the nation before ourselves. This includes asking all elected officials to donate their 5 gold to the Bank of Seoul, as well as attempting to put our party gold to use for the betterment of South Korea, whether by donating funds for the use of government ads, or selling ads to raise gold for the government. We also ask that all parties and citizens cooperate in PTO prevention whenever then need arises.
Pro-unity. Not only when things are bad and unity is required for the very survival of the nation, but everyday when disunity slowly poisons our nation. We've already lost much to needless accusations and bickering, we have to stitch the wounds we've opened, and let them heal. This also includes encouraging FP'ers, Goons, and even (Dios help me...) those like Arjay to integrate and participate meaningfully.
Pro-activity. Activity is good, 'nuff said.
Well, that's mostly it. So vote for me if you care to do so. My opponent is Caley, whose platform can be seen here:

I think Caley would be a fine PP judging by her platform and lack of enemies (which I myself can't claim). So good luck to Caley.
Vote well on election day everyone.

*sigh*
Beautiful, from a talented man.
This is the only time I have ever wanted to come back.
hmmmmmm...
I wish you well Al, no better man for the job.
:*
No matter who wins in the DNP, we all do!
Solid platform. Good luck to you and Caley.

Isn't it sad that all the people with good intentions and real plans always have to explain that they aren't going to go crazy when they try and say they are for socialism? (I blame all of the RP'ers who just want a dictatorship under the label Socialism)
Oh, a pleasant surprise, didn't know you were back in eSK.
This is a man who knows what's what.
Amen Smily. If I identify myself as either socialist or communist I get attacked by people who should agree with me, and supported by people I disagree with. Oh well, I guess I ultimately support pragmatism, and I think the government has to be involved in that sometimes.
Also, thanks Grainne. You're one of the handful of sane ones in this game.
It always intrigues me when the mouthy and the arrogant get into positions of power, how they handle being criticized, if they can take what they dish out, if they continue to call people who disagree a bunch of idiots.
A word to the wise: when Al speaks, sift through the attitude and the namecalling and find the kernel of information therein. If you can do that, he's a real asset to the community. If you're overly sensitive and can't deal with his talking-down to folks, don't vote for him.

wow Arjay, thats some lol coming from YOU.
*points polished fingernail, accusingly*
Al is a top-class player, and always has been.
But ofc, the Theocracy-shaped-splinter in your eye explains everything :p
BB beat me to it.
