Promotions

The last two weeks saw an incredible series of promotions in Airborne. For the first time in recent memory, all of the unit’s officer positions are filled!



This means, of course, that any soldier seeking promotion should look towards some clandestine method by which a current Airborne officer might be discreetly disposed of. Personally, I recommend poisoning, an act which betrays the assassin to have, if not exactly a touch of class, then at least a fine sense of history and a romantic spirit. Blackmail is respectable as well. As for targets, I suggest Greenday4537, who is said to have four Achilles’ heels, or possibly vrpanch, who is rumored to be at present buried under several inches of ice somewhere on the American East Coast.

...here are the newly promote😛

Joey.J has been made the full commander (DCO) of the 82nd division, following a short tenure as executive officer (DXO), which is to say second in command, of that same division, under the tutelage of Airborne XO vrpanch. Before that, Joey was the platoon commanding officer (PCO) of 101/2.

K9Fun661 has been promoted to division executive officer (DXO) of 82nd under Joey.j. Before that, K9 was PXO of 101/1, which means that he is so unbelievably awesome that he skipped a rank entirely and was double-promoted to his new position .Soldiers can now bug K9Fun661 for daily supplies on #eAirborne.

BTTrambly was raised up from within 101/1 to become its new executive officer (PXO) following the departure of K9Fun661 to 82nd. I suggest filling this lonesome sailor’s inbox with Valentine’s Day kisses. Or insults. Yeah, Valentine’s day insults.

Ben Swisher has been promoted to PXO of his native 101/2, a position with a lucky history, as it is the original leadership position held by both current DCOs, myself and JoeyJ.

29Hek has taken over as PXO of 82/1. Hek has the distinction of being one of the few soldiers to garner perfect activity points during the recent Airborne contest.

Darth Vader1 has been welcomed back to Airborne after a brief time away.

Blendix joined our ranks not long ago, but recently departed to assist an MU of his native eAlbania. He impressed us all in his short stay, and we hope to see him back some day. Lastly, Darth Vader1 has been welcomed back to Airborne after a brief time away.

With this outstanding class of recruits, and a full corps of brilliant officers, Airborne is stronger than ever, and as always, destined for glory. The only thing missing is you, if you aren’t here yet. If your strength is 10k or greater, and you want to be part of an active and well-supplied unit, apply here.
