ADSP Congress Candidates

As Australia's first unbugged congress elections approaches, Australia's (now) largest political party the Australian Democratic Socialist Party have confirmed their two Victorian candidates, Patti11 and Xavier Griffith. While the NSW candidates are yet to be confirmed due to a close primary election. The potential candidates however, are Derek Apollyon, haugenmatt, Tecchi and Taytaz.
All candidates have a rich history in this game in areas such as political (two former congressmen in Taytaz and Derek and ministers: Tecchi- MoD, Derek- MoH, Taytaz- MoFA, Patti- uMoI), military (the Minister of Defense Tecchi and Dropbear Patti), industry (Xavier and Patti), and media (haugen and Derek). This diverse range of individuals also share similar political beliefs that unite them under the ADSP banner.
Some of these include:

^ health care for all
^ fair wages across the same industries
^ remaining neutral
^being tough but fair in new talks with Indonesia
^economic stability in tender times
^increasing the value of the dollar

The next phase in Australia's history is approaching and to come out of it strong we need experienced, active members. The ADSP takes pride on who we elect for congress and every single one of these candidates is more than capable to have a say in the way our country is run. So on day 400 of The New World (Christmas Day!) vote for an ADSP candidate. Your country will be in good hands.

mate thease dudes have only been a party for a few weeks. Hardly adequate time to establish and refine party systems and protocols to complete perfection. I say we should cut them, and all parties, some slack and give them a fair go. Afterall, it's Christmas!

Perhaps you could propose a new selection protocol to the ADSP and work constructively with them to address the issues you have pointed out. That way you can help improve the process for next election. 🙂

This has probably been addressed by Patti but...
Basically the main problem i see here is poor timing. ADSP is a very new party just over 2 weeks old. We had to make sure that the party stays united with our orientation and policies as well as are very active and understanding of eAustralian politics and thus we only nominated 2 candidates for each state.

Now the forum membership problem... this is also due to poor timing. The forums are even newer than the party, and thus only has one admin, Cottus. He is currently away on holiday and is unable to add the new members to the forum, this has resulted in members not able to vote for their favoured congress nominee.
We at the ADSP apologize for this convenience, it really wasnt our fault.

I hope you all understand, the formation of a seperate forum and internal nominations is all intended to promote party unity and we are sorry for any problems it has caused. Like i said, it is all new and are currently having teething problems which will be resolved soon.

the problem i had with the ADSP has been solved, and was a critical error on my behalf, i apologize to all officials and citizens and hope that i will not allow simple mistakes to get the better of me, i wish the ADSP the best of luck in the congress elections, along with my vote.
