Is it a donkey or a zebra or a zonkey (there actually is such things as far as i remember) no its a kwagga an extinct species related to the zebra from southern africa.

A Professor Reinhold Rau actually discovered that this animal was a subspecies of the field zebra when he kept tissue from a old mounted animal 'skin.

He had to wait 10 years for DNA science to evolve to establish this and later started a project to recreate the species by selective breeding. Die'ing before the 4th generation which he predicts will be true Kwagga this was the results of his work
