Absence and thoughts on "Gan-yang" threat
Carr De Vaux
I can't believe i managed to stay away from writing articles for 5 solid days - missing our the 'exciting (not)' Presidential election, in which SetsunaX convincingly won the mandate of eMalaysians to steer our nation through the coming turbulous month. Well done to pruscok and nicholas2000 who both managed to secure quite a significant amount of votes. In retrospect, i believe SetsunaX and FUP deserved the election. the previous DAP government was, in many aspects, weak and indecisive. Troubled by inactiveness, infighting and countless threats andissues (Alfagrem, expansion of Sol games, eIndo, secession of eThailand, babyboom etc), Badlands17 2nd term administration wasn't the same as its successful 1st term.
That said - SetsunaX and his colleagues are heading toward a testing and turbulous time. urbulous indeed - with the 'pseudo-PTO' at eThailand and the growing threats from eIndonesia. In recent days, we have seen some rogue (low level members and relatively unsubscribed newspaper) medias publishing incinerary articles on eMalaysia media. This has reflected a change in the sense that previously, we have seen only these sort of inciteful articles in eIndo media.
What does that mean? .... My thoughts on eIndonesia's threat
Let's be honest here - my fellow eMalaysians. This is what their news and media are telling us: "They (eIndonesians) are coming, whether you like it or not." Chances are, they will hit Sarawak for its high Wood and Sabah for the Sol war games. At least, on surface - there have been some propaganda at works to 'create' the excuse for the agression towards a passive and neutral neighbour like eMalaysia. We have seen very similar excursion from eHungary on eSlovakia - but eSlovakia wasn't as 'neutral' as they would like to be - due to some past history. eMalaysia has always been steadfast in maintaining its neutrality - and even at testing times like this - we still see national leaders like Vikta - extending olive branch to our comrades in eIndonesia.
If this is a real threat- then eIndonesia is doing an awefully poor job in hiding its secrets. That's said, eMalaysians do have some excellent 'analysts" who fortunately, read Indonesian language. They (eI) did try to hide the text within some 'encrypted' code or what not. Judging from what being said and discussed in eIndo IRC rooms (which i spent a few days being idle, while i was away on my business trip) and eIndo media - this is my personal thought - it seems like our neighbour would love to harness the RL-acrimony between the two great RL nations - for a baby boom.
Can we blame them? eUSA did the same thing when PEACE over-run its nation. eHungary did the same thing when eRomanian conquered their lands. eIndo had its first boom during beta and early v1 of eRepublik when they launched their "PEACEkeeping" operations around the world. Same can be said for eRussia, eSerbia and many other large nations. RL emotions do extend to eWorld - whether you like it or not.
So, eIndonesia is coming to town. With 300millions RL indonesians with nearly 30mil RL internet Indonesia users, we can anticipate some major baby boom there soon. In comparison, RL Malaysia has approximately 28mil population and nearly 19mil RL internet users, while RL Thailand has 68mil pop and 15mil RL internet users. What does that tell us? eMalaysia and eThailand
combined, technically have more baby-booming potential than eIndonesia . I hope our national leaders will keep this in mind - and realise that it is not a lost cause - even if eIndonesia come visiting. The same motivation that drives them to attack us, could be used to our advantage in mobilising our RL-newbie-base. All for the good of the game and all nations involved. Perhaps after this little incoming skirmish - a new East-Asia + Australia front could be born - to provide balance to this inbalanced eWorld.
Now that i am not part of the government - i am not sure what's the 'official' plan. It does appeared that the current administration are not doing too much on the surface - but of course, citizens like you and me would not have a clue what's going on at the background. There was a Congressional meeting, which i missed due to RL commitment - which i was assured that the present administration has a plan. However, what i do know however is - this is a game, a game with a strong in-built war-module. War, getting attacked and attacking people are all part and parcel of this eWorld.
Let's us not tremble in fear in sight of the 224 Field Marshals, 691 Generals and thousand others Colonels and Captains from our 'friendly' neighbour. Let's us not cower in trepidation, and run to the enemy of our possible enemies (Eden and Brolliance) - and inevitably give them a real excuse to invade us. Let's us not be afraid - my fellow eMalaysians, even if the war comes to our shore.
The coming month (Nov) may spell for a period of darkness for us e-Malaysians.
Considering how ABeRI (eIndonesia army) has been saving fighting provisions for the past 2-3 days, we can safely anticipate invasion within the next 48-72 hours . That's at least is my bold prediction. We might have to get used to living under external threats and being part of a global chess game of Eden/Brolliance and Peace. but Remember my dear eMalaysians - defeat only comes when you admit it. We shall not surrender, we shall not fear and we shall FIGHT for our sovereignity, dignity and their humility. From darkness - shall emerge a stronger light! HIDUP eMALAYSIA! Long Live eMalaysia!
I shall be with you in glory and in darkness.
Yours,
Carr de Vaux

i wonder why i am getting 3 comments from eIndonesians, when the article essentially says "i am not afraid of the invasion".
What Indonesians in their warmongering mood have failed to realize is that it is in most cases the nation under attack that has a baby boom. Serbia, USA, France, Hungary etc. are all examples of that. They had their biggest influx of citizens when threatened to be destroyed by stronger neighbours. It's quite simple to see why as well. This could come back to haunt them in a few months.
hey hey..Im not eIndonesian :/
hey natamhanjing - sorry! hahaha. 😃 i was reading it over a glance the names and avatars

I'm sure that we would defend in the event of an attack whether you are EDEN/Brolliance or not. We don't want to see other countries wiped off the map. Also, you've been kind enough to let us join your wargames. If Neutral Sovereignty is important to you, then we will help you maintain it, whether it is the People of the eUS or the government.
