Welcome to my first issue of A Week in Parliament

As a congressmen you are meant to take your role serious , you get to vote on important issue such as tax this is a high standing role in the game.
As a New Era congressman a former PP I will be released this article once a week to explain by voting and the reason behind each vote, we call for open government and now the time to show how New Operate , I would also like to find out the rest of New Era Congress voting and include it this article.

7 Days a ago President of United Kingdom proposed a mutual protection pact with Bulgaria

This was won 34-0 , I of course voted yes as Bulgaria are long standing friends and I have a few friends in the British Army and New Era from this great country !

6 days ago Proposed by Giordy River, Norway has been proposed as Natural Enemy.

This lost 4-25 I voted no , I guess as we was at war with Norway our congress thought this was the right plan but with orders from the CP I voted No , you have to keep your NE options open in case another county decides to attack that is why I voted No.

5 days ago Proposed by Sir Marvin, President of Poland proposed a mutual protection pact with United Kingdom

This won 34-0 again I voted Yes , this is a no brainier ,Poland are our great friends and super allies.

4 days ago Proposed by Istencsaszar,President of Hungary proposed a mutual protection pact with United Kingdom

This won 32-2 I voted yes the same reason as why I voted yes to Poland, long serving friends and allies.

This won 35-0 and I voted yes , we have fought some good battle along side Spain and again we have close Spanish friends in New Era , long live this friendship continue!

This won 23- 4 Less members of congress voted on this for some reason , I voted yes as we have closed ties with this country.

This week has seen no tax laws, just refreshing our alliance friendship.
I will publish my next congress update in 7 days time.

That's ok mate , no harm done , it takes a big man to say sorry, , but we was at war with Norway so it wasn't too bad ! thanks for being honest ! New Era leading the way for open government !

The war with Norway had actually ended Don, hence the need to reset a NE on them, game mechanics right there for you. You had been told prior to your proposal along every other congress member Giordy, that under no circumstances propose a NE on Norway.

Norway were, thankfully, understanding of the whole situation and as promised would vote down as soon as it became clear our intentions. So as Don says, no harm done. Next time check with your fellow congress members. You only get two proposals per term so rather then going in blind, gauge the reaction with a message first, that way it has more chance of being successful and every congress member wants a successful proposal .
