A war has broken out and it's not the war that you think. In the past couple of days, a propaganda war has been raging, pitting the Department of Investigation and Ethic's ApoxOnYou against the self-styled socialist Celio Azevedo.

It all began with DIE's release of a video ad stating that Apox was running for congress in the province of Pyong. The video itself used a real life image of Celio that he himself provided by adding it as his avatar, as well as a direction quote from Celio that doesn't really put him in a good light. Celio immediately began crying foul, or at least I think he did because it's very hard to understand what he's saying. At any rate, Celio felt insulted by the video, dubbing it "aggressive" and "offensive" and decided to act like a two-year-old and went running to mommy (the admins). Oh, and he also said he was going to pull all his support from City Party candidates as a result of this video. (1)

DIE, however, was not done. As a result of Celio's childish reaction, ApoxOnYou dug into the situation and found damning evidence which suggests that Celio might be a multiple-account user. He did this by linking a Youtube account to Celio by way of his unique way of speaking gibberish and then cross-linking it to an eRep account that was not Celio but spoke the same way. Celio's counter was that this was actually a friend who did not speak English and that he provided the translations. And, again, Celio called the report "aggressive" and went running to mommy. (2)

After running off to tattle because someone hurt his feelings, Celio created an article using his newspaper, Socialist International, wondering who or what DIE really was. His intention was to show that ApoxOnYou wasn't actually acting Ethical and to paint him as a bit of a cry baby. He then sought to elevate his own character. ApoxOnYou countered using Celio's own tactics of painting the article as "aggressive", responding to every single comment by Celio and his "friend" in this manner. (3)

It was at this point that Celio himself decided to use ApoxOnYou's tactic of a video ad to call the "Ring Wing" (sic) a bunch of crybabies. And as of this morning, this is where we stand. (4)

Reading the definitions and then reading through the synopsis of the War of Words has me reveling in the delicious irony of Celio's actions following the initial salvo from ApoxOnYou. The very actions he seeks to condemn are ones he is now attempting to use. That ApoxOnYou has turned the tables and is mockingly calling his actions "aggressive" is just icing on a very delicious cake.

Furthermore, Celio attempting to call the Right Wing, or the Ring Wing in his words, crybabies is just too rich and I think we might all die from laughter at that one. Celio has taken every bit of propaganda leveled against him and labeled it as 'aggressive', running off to mommy because his feelings got hurt. It furthers the perceived notion that Celio is himself incapable of dealing with criticism, and that he has, by and large, lived a very sheltered life.

Let me give you an abject lesson on life and the internet: People are not nice. They will use you, abuse you, and toss you aside as they see fit. You can either man up and accept that this happens and try and do something about it, or you can keep doing what you've been doing: Running off to mommy because you don't have the mental or emotional capacity to cope.
