A Vision for the Future: An Elvea exclusive

Day 400, 05:01 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Professor Evil

There's been a general mood hanging over the eUK ever since Lower Normandy fell; suspense. To anyone who has followed the war, the options for PEACE forces are limitless; as I've mentioned before, they had the opportunity to make a move on Belgium or even attempt to cross the Channel.

It did not help that varying elements have made different predictions over their armed forces' next move. A few assorted PEACE soldiers have made threats to march right into London, whereas others think some sort of reprisal will be inevitable.

Wanting an end to the tension, I sought out the one person who would know exactly what PEACE forces would do next: President of France, Elvea. She graciously agreed to an interview, and following my first question issued a statement that will cause sighs of relief all over the country:

"eUK territory wont be attacked."

Following this, I asked her four more questions about what may come, and the answers will be a ray of hope to anyone wishing an end to this war:

The Libertarian Voice: Despite mixed initial reacions, does your status-quo ceasefire offer still stand?
Elvea: All we want is our territories back. We won't attack any country just to prove them how we are strong because we are not.
TLV: Will this event mark a turnaround for Anglo-French relations?
Elvea: Anglo-French relations are only marked by respect and talk. Maybe if we had talked before, relations could be better but for now, we shall engage commercial negociations to set an inter-dependence and stabilize eEurope.
TLV: Do you believe a future lasting understanding between PEACE and ATLANTIS would be possible?
Elvea: I believe that ATLANTIS and PEACE must die to create alliances more focused on commercial inter-dependence and geographical areas stability. Then, those alliances could engage pact between them. ATLANTIS/PEACE relations will forever be based on mutual fear.
TLV: If so, would you be happy to begin proceedings or would France have to be approached?
Elvea: I'd like eFrance to initiate the process of creating territory stability. For me, this game should not be about who is the strongest but how we could make the eWorld better than World.

Perhaps such simple alliances as ATLANTIS and PEACE should break down into smaller factions? Perhaps the best way forward is cooperation? And, not forgetting that this comes from one of the war's staunchest supporters, perhaps it's finally time to put down the guns?
