Today the admins ruled in the case of Portugal versus the United States in regards to the 5000 gold we supposedly owed them. The admins decision was swift and decisive. The contract is void and was never applicable to either country. A NAP that would have kept both countries safe until day 827 is now no longer relevant. In the pursuit of gold Portugal has sacrificed security. On another note, the eUSA Government is now offering free vacations to the Azores, please contact the new program director Emerick for details.

They backed out, we paid them. We should just call it even, and move on.

Way to ignore the facts Carr De Vaux. You are only showing your ignorance. Portugal broke the contract from the start. It was null and void by their own actions by the standards they claim the USA owed them (late turning over the territories).
The only one twisting the rules was Portugal trying to create a contract without going through proper channels.
