The Election In Review
The election for President of the United States, the first of 2012, proved to be nothing more than standard procedure for the nation, giving Oblige a second term, and a second victory with more than 60% of the vote. This man has been able to unite himself with all the parties in-game, and was the candidate Meet the Press endorsed for the office. The election also was one in which candidate Sir Gulden Draak finished third, after setting his goal as second place as part of an attempt to stave off a possibility of a Pizza The Hut Presidency.
Could Pizza the Hut Become President?
Since PTH finished second in the CP elections, the question now looms that if Oblige gets sacked by the admins, which the odds of are slim, or is randomly impeached and somehow thrown out, again small odds, then PTH, by finishing second in the CP elections, would become President. I highly doubt he would live as POTUS for more than an hour before the Congress went on to impeach and remove him, which surely would be the case. Then it would go to the third place finisher Sir Gulden Draak if I am correct. Again, small odds of something going wrong with Oblige and even smaller odds that PTH will be able to pass anything before being thrown out himself. Just figured I would remind the American people of these ever so worrisome thoughts.
Conclusion
I'll be continuing my work with the White House Press Corps this term, and am looking forward to it. I'll also try and work more with my newspaper to get to 500 subscribers, and currently we are up to 332 and counting. All the support we can get will be accepted, and as always, share Meet the Press with all you know in the hopes of assisting us with our newest readership goal.

Voted, if he gets to POTUS he will last only 24hrs, the time need for a law to be voted, he won't gonna be able to fuck up anything since the congress decides about all the laws, oh and pizza is semi-retiring.
I want the sworn statement of his "semi-retirment". Are you sure he doesn't plan to just move to another multi. (Cheap shot, I know, but welcome to America lolz)
Semi-Retirement=I will only be around on an advisory/scaled back role.
You can only propose Impeachment once every seven days. So if Oblige was banned, and was impeached then Pizza would have seven days in office before another impeachment could be proposed and I could take over. It wouldn't be the end of the world, as Congress would just vote down everything he proposed, but it would still be a little embarrassing to have Pizza as CP and have all our allies freak out when an MPP with Serbia is proposed. Again, the chances that anything happens to Oblige are slim, but it is better to be save than sorry. We weren't this time, and Pizza got second, but hopefully nothing happens. Good article though.

While in real life a President can die or resign, here the only thing that can happen is he gets banned. If Oblige went into a coma in real life, his account can still be used.
And unlike real life, Congress would have to impeach the banned account, and we wouldn't do that. Banned CP > Ajay.
Yes, as BM says, 24 hours for impeachment law to take effect. Lotsa unholy crap like MPP's proposed and CZ requests accepted for one day. Allies as NE would be another good one. Best not to think about it and go on. Lesson to be learned is that voters need to be instructed that when the popular candidate has a 2:1 lead over an undesired candidate, the third place candidate should receive the popular vote. To continue to vote for the #1 candidate causes the situation we now have.
Granted, the chances of something fluke occurring are almost zero, but it is best to have no chance at all of said things occurring.
