A Proudly eSouth African Initiative

Day 1,937, 05:55 Published in South Africa South Africa by Gambit LeBeau

I would like to make a proposal for a proudly eSouth African community.
The purpose behind this initiative is to help improve our country as a whole, as well as our economy, meaning, better salaries for employees at the end of the day.

To start off this initiative, we will begin small.

The way it will work:

Q1 food is first to take the plunge, well actually a raise.
- I would like to propose a recommended retail price of 0.10zar.

It may like a drastic increase, (double the current price), but it is a positive move for the country/economy.
I have personally contacted a few players currently selling Q1 food, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for raising your prices.
However, in order for this to work, we all need to play ball for the SAME SIDE.
So, if you see a player selling his produce at a lower price, please pm that player, asking them to raise their prices.
Your could also add the link to this article in your message.
Also, if employees could purchase their employers products, they are ensuring that their employers have funds to pay them salaries.

Why it will work:

I believe eSA is a close knit community, that has the best interests of the COUNTRY at heart.
Also, our current import tax model greatly increases our chances of success. The tax bracket for foreigners to sell on our markets is set at its highest.

Therefore we will see less importers selling in our market, opening up the opportunity for our local producers to sell on the market at a price that we decide. (0.10zar)

I have seen (as well as everyone else) the state of our country's finances

And the only way we can effectively sign MPP's, without having to invest RL money into this game, is to raise the prices on our markets.

Note: Plato is not going to do it for us. We need to do it for us.
Therefore I urge all players, sell your Q1 food product's at 0.10zar
Once we get this ball rolling, we can look at improving our prices elsewhere.
