A Nice Song

Good day my dear readers:
I thought I would share some Caribbean culture with you by sharing one of my favorite love songs by a Caribbean artist.

Vybz Kartel is a Jamaican DJ, musical artist, and businessman. He is one of Jamaica's most recognizable figureheads and is well known throughout the Caribbean for his musical talent. In my opinion, he is the best artist in the style of music called "dancehall". Dancehall originates from Jamaica and is a widely preferred style of music throughout the Caribbean region. Some of the dialect, colloquialism, and accent may be unfamiliar or hard to understand to a person who is unfamiliar with the music genre or unfamiliar with Jamaican colloquialism in general, but once you become familiar with the style, it becomes very easy to appreciate the musical talent and thought these artists put into making these songs. Other famous dancehall artists include Mavado, Bounty Killer, Tommy Lee Sparta, Alkaline, among many others. Anyways, I just thought I would share a Caribbean song I particularly liked with you guys, I hope you enjoy it.

Catchy!
I like Mavado. Started listening to him when he did Girlz dem luv we with Shaggy.
This is seriously good stuff. Need glass of dark rum and a fat cigar now 🙂
Atleast in The Bahamas we can get authentic Cuban cigars although they are still pretty expensive for good quality. Strangely enough I haven't listened to many of Mavado's songs, although I have listened to some like Top Shotta and others. I usually stick to Kartel or Tommy Lee for dancehall.
