A New Player's Perspective

Well..... I just had I nicely typed out article that explained my first experience of Erepublik but when I pressed the "publish" button I got logged out and all of my work was deleted. So I'm going to sum up my first experience
with Erepublik in a couple points of pros and cons.
CONS (that I have experienced so far)

As soon as I logged in I was getting spammed with different invitations to political parties- I just started the game, I'm not ready to join a party, even if I knew how to!

All of these messages from the secretary of the whatever or the president of whatever claim to have plenty of website to go to if you need help with starting the game, most of the time these links would just take you to sketchy websites that offered no real help at all.
PROS

This might be a lame thing to say but one thing that really attracted me to this game was it's clean layout, although it may be kind of complicated to understand the clean cut organization of the web pages does defiantly help with trying to understand what is going on.

I really do like the fact that players can express themselves within the news, it is very cool how that players can start their own newspaper like I am now 😃

All in all i just wanted to write this to show my opinions about the game. I will continue to play it for another day or two to see if I begin to enjoy it more. I think other new players may feel the way I feel

Always, always, always! Write your articles in word or some other editor and then copy and paste to your newspaper. I made that mistake my first article as well. It's a hard lesson learned.

Good job on your first article. If you have any questions about publishing, please don't hesitate to ask me. I am by no means an authority on the subject, but I've got a good idea.

You make some good points in your cons list, but there are a ton of different places to go for help and information, it just takes time to figure it all out.

V & S. I tend to lose long PM's that way. Now, I copy them to the clipboard to be safe. There's nothing like the badly written, rushed second draft of a lost PM to make friends and influence people 😁
