There's a little less grey on the map as three new Arab countries are added to eRepublik!

eEgypt - oil, iron, fruit, cattle.
eEgypt will have a total of 6 regions.
#1. Lower Egypt will have fruits and border eCyprus, eGreece and eTurkey.
#2. Middle Egypt will have cattle.
#3. Upper Egypt will have iron.
#4. Red Sea Coast will have fruits and border eSaudi Arabia.
#5. Western Desert will have oil.
#6. Sinai will have fruits and border eIsrael, eCyprus and eSaudi Arabia.
eUnited Arab Emirates - oil, iron, saltpeter, fish.
eUAE will have a total of 7 regions.
#1. Abu Dhabi will have oil and border eSaudi Arabia.
#2. Ajman will have fish.
#3. Dubai will have saltpeter.
#4. Fujairah will have fish and border eIran.
#5. Ras al Khaimahwill have fish and border eIran.
#6. Sharjah will have saltpeter.
#7. Umm al Quwain will have iron and border eIran.
eSaudi Arabia - oil, grain, aluminium, saltpeter.
eSaudi Arabia will have a whopping 13 regions!
#1. Al Bahah will have oil.
#2. Al Jawf will have aluminium and border eEgypt and eIsrael.
#3. Al Madinah will have oil and border eEgypt.
#4. Al Qasim will have grain.
#5. Al Riyadh will have grain.
#6. Asir will have oil.
#7. Eastern Province will have saltpeter and border eUAE and eIran.
#8. Hail will have grain.
#9. Jizan will have oil.
#10. Makkah will have oil.
#11. Najran will have saltpeter.
#12. Northern Borders will have grain.
#13. Tabuk will have aluminium and border eEgypt
If i remember correctly, they said in a forum post SALTPETER will be the new raw material that will replace STONE, both eUAE and eSAUDI ARABIA will have this raw.
I find it amusing that eSaudi Arabia has *4* grain regions.
Apparently Plato didn't get the memo that Saudi Arabia is a desert.
It's also funny that the eUAE has *6* regions when countries that are much larger, like Malaysia only have 3.

The # of regions is based on divisions IRL i think. United Arab Emirates is made up of 7 different Emirates, or in this case 7 regions. im not sure about malaysia but its probably cuz they only have 3 divisions irl?
@wars7: for some countries its like that, ie UAE, Canada, USA for others its just a generalization i.e Brazil in real life has 27 regions.
