A Christmas Message from CV James

Day 401, 04:53 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by CV James
Merry Christmas one and all!

Under attack we may be, but lets not pass this opportunity to celebrate the 2nd ever Christmas in the new world. Since May 2007, our new community has grown and grown from 100 world citizens in July 2007 to tens of thousands now. We have seen Governments develop, constitutions written, war declarations, countries conquered and new countries flourish.

However, with the ATLANTIS-PEACE war in full swing, the battleground has now come right to our very own borders. Yesterday, France (despite promising not to attack) launched an assault on the Walloon Region of Belgium, part of the United Kingdom since our two governments signed a merger treaty in April 2008. For the very first time in the history of eUnited Kingdom, an invading force looks set to occupy a sovereign British territory. Will we bow down in the face of this imperialism? Will we succumb to their demands and let our good Belgian friends suffer at the hands of the foreign occupiers?

This we shall not. We have let our Belgian counterparts down in failing to provide the necessary protection and organisation; this is the fault of no-one but we must face the facts. It is time for eUK to make a stand against aggresive occupiers.

With Congress Elections taking place right now, it will be the job and responsibility of the new legislature to ensure our borders are not violated the way they have been these past few days. Please do not vote on party affiliation or candidate-likeability. In times like these, we need the best Congressmen eUK has to offer, check out candidate's manifestos and promises before voting, otherwise only we as a nation are to blame for their actions - voting for a candidate without a manifesto is like writing a blank cheque.

On a final note, I wish the best of luck to all candidates standing for Congress today. I too am standing for the South East, and if elected, will work to ensure the protection of our island borders and our Belgian borders from this kind of aggression.

Thanks for reading, and a very Merry Christmas to all citizens of eUK

Yours,
CV James
