A Big Thank You, Some Stats and Worrying News
Congress for Dec 2009
I would like to start by saying Go raibh maith agat do na daoine a vótáil dom. (Thank you to the people who voted for me).
Now I would like to go on and welcome everybody, young and old, man or woman and congresspeople or not congresspeople to ask me any questions they may have about the Dáil. Whether it be about the running of the Dáil, how to get into the Dáil or how you can get involved in the Dáil without being a congressperson. You can also ask me to take a look at any proposals that you would like to see go through the Dáil.
Congress Dec 2009 Stats
The IFP and ISD took 10 seats each.
The Independants took 8 seats.
The IUP and Saoirse took 6 seats each.
There were some interesting results which could only have happened on Christmas Day. It seems santa was kind to the IFP and ISD while the IUP got a sack of coal.
Now onto the worrying news about some of our current congress members. I am yet again very disappointed to see this happen yet again. We have people who got into the Dáil who contributed sweet f*** all last term. Party Presidents your Parties names will also be tarnished by these members if they do not perform their congressional duties properly. I see no need to go easy on any of the people featured on my shame list as if they are unable to perform their congressional duties they should not have run for a consecutive term. The people listed above missed at least 8 out of 9 votes up to the 21/12. I am happy to see that the list has fallen from 4 last term to only 3 this term. Things can only keep getting better for us Ireland. Now lets get together and make Ireland the best we can. It would seem to me that 2 of the above people are only in it for the Gold. That is wrong, selfish and extremely greedy. As it is Christmas time I will however not go so hard on these people or anybody else just yet.

@ Kavrocks Party presidents can't move people out of the regions - if they want to run, they can. And if someone has some RL friends in the game, they can get elected everytime, with a few votes. It's an unfortunate reality.

I think you might be aware of the situation with Longbaugh. He seems to only consider in-game votes to be important.

You seem to have a personal gruge againist Longbaugh so I'll disregard from your biased "Shame" list.
He's active and learned about our governmental system from the last term .
In future I'd advise you in future to not judge someone at a start of term because the T.D Performance Tracker should tell that story itself

Pip, I'm disappointed that you said that. All I have against Longbaugh is to do with his needless insults at me for pointing out he is a blatant lier and claims our forums are a joke and anything on there doesn't matter. I messaged loads of people last round about taking part in our forums everybody who replied except Longbaugh was all apologies and vowed to change their ways while Longbaugh just started attacking me and saying our forums are a joke and don't matter.

Digits However they should be getting on to their members to vote on the forums at the least it only takes a max of 10 mins per day.
it is regrettable that some tds with 100% voting record, cough cough, miss out and these lads get back in with 0 votes...but thats the joys of democracy

There is an obvious reason he is here, to be the voice/arm of the UK in our government.

Lol Longbaugh. Take a look at Dash's Performance Tracker, you missed 7 votes and if you do not want to cast a vote you have to say you Abstain from the vote so don't give us any of that crap. You keep aiming your insults at me because I'm highlighting the truth about you instead of spending your time correcting what is being highlighted. With that said, two of the nine votes were put forth by me. In addition to those two, I also voted YES on Dash's "Active Status" amendment and Dub's last proposal. That's four out of nine.

2. This last election happened to be the very first in which I ran and did not proposition or PM anyone to vote for me.
