Race to Congress: Kinki

Day 641, 15:40 Published in Japan Japan by Metic
The Race Continues
3 days to go and the field of candiates has now risen to 51.

The party standings in terms of candidates are as follows:
Godzilla Party: 15
Imperial Sun Party: 11
National Alliance Party: 13
United Lolies of Japan: 4
Orange Party: 8

Race in Kinki Tightening

Today we'll be looking at the race in the central region of Kinki. The location of a level 3 Hospital, Kinki is the home to fifty-five citizens. Of which, an astounding eleven percent are running for congress.

Kitagawa Akishiro - United Lolies of Japan
Akishiro is a new citizen working in the weapons industry. It does not appear he has signed up at the forums.

Luthair - Godzilla Party
A land worker complete with two Hard Worker medals, Luthair has appeared at the forums and seems to check often. While we can't say much more, The Report can agree that his avatar is quite win.

Marcus Dijohn Sessoms - United Lolies of Japan
Recently a candidate of the Tequila Fitness Party, MDS recently moved over presumably to gain election access. Almost 300 days old, MDS is a former three-time congress member and an old-timer of the game.

Ronoa Zorro - National Alliance Party
Born over 200 days ago, Zorro is a six-time congress member. While active in game it seems, zorro has posted a grand total of once in late May and hasn't visited since.

yerm - Godzilla Party
A North Korean immigrant, yerm is a three-time congress member and also the owner of three Hard Worker medals. It is clear he is an active member, at the very least in game. While we can't say for certain without seeing him (and his opinions) at our forums, he is a solid choice.

Kyo Kusanagi - Tequila Fitness Club***
Two-time Congress Member for Kinki, Kusanagi is our favourite for the race. By far the most vocal of the candidates, Kusanagi has a check beside all of our own critieria. Currently a member of sixth-placed TFC, we hope he considers changing parties to appear on the ballot.

*** This list was started at the beginning of the congress candidature period and included members from the TFC as a result.

ULJ secure top five party status

Our last report was made while we were unsure whether ULJ would hold their lead over the Tequila Fitness Club for fifth place, as member counts were incredibly close. We can now comfortably say that the ULJ will indeed stay within the top five today. With increasing member counts, ULJ has actually replaced the Orange Party as the fourth placed party. In fact, we have already seen two TFC candidates moving over to this party for ballot access. We should mention that past ULJ candidates campaigned for congress under the TFC banner.

We also want to extend a big Congratulations to our eSouth Korean brothers in Gyeongsamnam-do and we hope you join us for continued coverage of the August Congress Elections!
