Wondering what to do next? Follow the quick and easy instructions below.

Step 1: Join the ePhilippines Forums

Note: If you have already joined the forums, skip to Step 2.

Register at the official ePhilippines National forums here: http://ephilippines.forummotion.com/

Then, click Register.

Step 2: Congress Sign-In

Once registered, sign-in for Congress here:
http://ephilippines.forummotion.com/public-discussion-f8/congress-sign-in-july-2009-t997.htm

After you sign-in, Forums admin will grant you Statesman privileges that will give you special access to the Council of State forums, here: http://ephilippines.forummotion.com/council-of-state-f7/

Note: If you are a reelected congressman, and have signed in before, you will have instant access to the Council of State forums.

Also, congress debates and discussions are visible to the public, so you can see if your congressmen are actively contributing their opinions or just spamming the forums.

Step 3: Nominate a Speaker of the House

Once you have access, please proceed to this thread to nominate a Speaker of the House: http://ephilippines.forummotion.com/council-of-state-f7/nominations-for-speaker-of-the-house-t998.htm

The Speaker of the House will be responsible for:

1. Setting the agenda of the Philippine Congress.
2. Moderating Congress debates and discussions (telling people to shut up when they get too noisy or irrelevant)
3. Next month, the Speaker will be the one to create this article instructing newly elected congressmen what to do, the Speaker nomination thread, and the Congress sign-in thread.
4. Telling when Congress can make 'lulz' proposals and when they can't, and what kind.
5. Keep congressmen happy. 😃
6. (your suggestions here)

In exchange for the dutiful dispensation of these responsibilities, the Speaker will be addressed directly as "Mr. Speaker, Your Honor", and otherwise will be addressed in the third person. He will also be loved and adored by the Filipino people. XD

Legal Rubbish

1. The term of the Speaker of the House shall last for one month.
2. Rules for impeachment of the Speaker shall follow the same rules as impeachment of the President.

Please nominate wisely.

Notes: If you are a first time congressman, I recommend you abstain from making nominations. Also, department heads and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency are advised to concede if they are nominated.

Step 4: Get to know each other

Congress old-timers, please make our Congress neophytes feel at home. PM them to congratulate them and offer to answer their questions about anything Congress-related.
