Hello to the super great citizens of Delaware.

Let me introduce myself. I am Lex Scandalex and I am running for Congress in the great state of Delaware on July 25th.

Now I can easily sit here and make the typical political platform by saying that I will do this and that or say that I will lower taxes and get you a hospital. But you don’t want to waste your time reading it and there is no FUN in that. So I’ll get the point on why I am running for Congress.

1. I WANT TO GET STUFF DONE
Debate is healthy, but I find that Congress wastes too much time debating and not enough time doing. I do not need to hear the sound of my voice (or the size of my font in this case). I’m here to have FUN and to make sure that everyone else is doing the same. I don’t have ambitions of being great or becoming the president. I’m not using this campaign as a stepping stone. I just want to make sure that people are having FUN. If elected, I will debate topics, but I will not sit back and let others debate endlessly. It will be “Yes or No, Pick a Side” from me, that’s my promise to you.

2. COMMUNICATION
A goal of mine is to find ways to improve communication with all other citizens so that everyone knows what is going on, even for citizens that don’t use the forums. A citizen should never be unaware on where we fight and what this country is doing. I will make sure that the citizens of this country will always know.

3. KEEPING PEOPLE ACTIVE AND EDUCATED
We have more dying citizens than all the other countries in the eRepublik. I feel that we need to do research on how to keep citizens alive and active in the game and try to find out why we are losing so many people. Sure, this game is not for everyone, but we need to reach out to new citizens as much as possible and not just say “Don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of it”. We need to inform all new citizens of our history, where we are and where we are going.

4. FUN
I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell. This is a game; lets play it like one. Just I said in a recent article (http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/why-so-serious--850139/1/20) I am here to kick butt and chew bubblegum . . . but I was allergic to the gum, went to the hospital and never got to kick butt. So instead I’m here for FUN. Seriousness has it place, but in the end, the goal is FUN for everyone. If you want take everything seriously, then please vote for someone else. But if you want to just to have a little FUN during your “life” in the eRepublik, then a vote for Lex Scandalex is a vote FUN. And you want to have FUN right?

So there you go, Scandalex for Delaware = FUN. I will make sure that my ideas for Delaware and America fit into my goals of providing FUN along with those that stop PEACE. Thanks and remember … FUN
