Proposals | Varnish Memorial Day & Bunaly Impeachment Day
Swagger McSwag
First of all, may I extend my congratulations to all the winners of the successful May 25 Congress elections. May your terms be fruitful and your decisions wise.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all those who voted.
As for those who lost the race, better luck next time. Yup, there is a next time, so don’t lose hope. In the meantime, please support your Congress representatives. Feel free to tell them about your views or opinions on how we can better our country.
Now, distinguished ladies and gentlemen of the Congress of the Philippines...
May I have your attention please.
One of our recently elected congressmen, along with myself, have advocated the creation of an “anti-varnish day” to commemorate the triumph of the eFilipino people, headed by the April 25 FPM-PFF Coalition Government, over the Spanish-led Secta del Guru Varnish rouge faction’s attempt to seize the May 5 presidency.
FORMER SGV PRESIDENT JURGO EVERGETES GETTING PWNED BY EL TORO
Therefore, as my first act in Congress, I hereby submit this proposal to consecrate the 4th of the month to commemorate May 5, 2009 or the day that the Secta del Guru Varnish departed from the Philippines. It shall henceforth be called Varnish Memorial Day
DEATH OF THE PEDOBEAR, BUNALY
Furthermore, in remembrance of March 14, 2009, or the day the first Filipino President-slash-public enemy #1 was impeached, I would also like to propose the declaration of the 14th day of the month as Bunaly Impeachment Day.

really you want remember the TO? 😒
Yes, of course, but I suggest we call it "Vanish Varnish!" Day 😉
Popelus, weren't you part of the Varnish Cult?
Just as I suspected. Our new "congressmen" would rather bitch and whine about Guru Varnish and inflate the role they played in that catastrophe. They should instead find ways to prevent thing like that from happening again. But who would listen to me. I'm just a nobody 🙂
My opinion about this is... I don't think it is necessary. If we have to celebrate then why name it after these villains? Why not name it after the hardwork and teamwork of the Filipinos and write the happenings as the history of these days.
@Albert, he's not whining nor bitching. He's role-playing. LOL can't you see that? Also, this is obviously some ploy to get people, especially "congressmen" to participate in the forums.
Hahahah i knew it. You're just pissed because you finished 41st in teh elections the other day. lol. don't worry. I'm sure you'll win next time.
@jayranz, writing newspaper articles in Filipino (with overly long paragraphs) is unecessary too. In fact it's inconvenient and hard to read for foreigners and locals alike. But who would listen to me. I'm just a nobody 🙂
Yeah Fabian, maybe your right. Maybe if my party supported me a little. But never mind. I should have expected that as a newcomer. Though I still think we should just forget Guru Varnish and find a way prevent being swallowed by the bigger eNations.
Its not that bad guys. >.> It really has its benefits.
1) Newbies and veterans alike will be constantly reminded of what transpired on those day, pride themselves on overcoming the those trials and resolve to themselves never to let it happen again.
2)Brings us together as a ePhilippine nation as it gives us a sense of pride, unity and identity.
3)Gives us constant bragging rights. xD
4) This nation will finally start to get lively....who knows? Maybe these events would even become international holidays! I think its safe to say that many people hate those guys...(except popelus...I'm starting to think he's cute...in a non-gay way xD)
5) It could serve to give people morale! Something to pride themselves upon and also something to look forward each year 😁
6) It would remind you that not everything's dull and that you should take it smooth once in a while...chill dude 😁
So there you have it...I can make up more reasons but I don't think that's necessary >.> So don't be a KJ, join in! Have fun! Be part of ePhilippine history today!!!! 😁
THE PHILIPPINES ROX!!!!!!
lol..sorry for the typo xD

@Jacquea De Martin. I couldn't have said it any better. LOL
Your comment is what's missing from my article. XD
Sorry I don't like this. We need Anarchist day tbh.
(except popelus...I'm starting to think he's cute...in a non-gay way xD)
-- heeeeyy!! Jacquea's being defensive 😃
@Fabian: yeah I know that writing newspaper articles in Filipino (with overly long paragraphs) is unecessary but you know what I found fame in that and that's also the reason why most of eFilipinos had stood up and fight for their right. Look at where the Varnish people are right now? they fled the Philippines. I do not care about the foreigners, I more concern of my kababayans. Foreigners should learn the language where they want to go just like Filipinos learning their language 🙂
@Dragoon..Shhhhhh >.>...xD
To Jacquea De Martin: I wholeheartedly agree. We need a day that will unite us, give a lesson to new eFilipinos, and make the game more lively.
