Today on Wednesday May 20th ( Day 547 of the New World), The eWorld as we knew it collapsed.
Confidence in the eUK government fell to a massive 65% no confidence vote (Source: eUK forums) and ATLANTIS collapsed.
It is a sad day as ATLANTIS was an invaluble organisation for fighting imperialists such as Indonesia who wish to build a global empire, now there is nothing to stop them. I feel very sorry for the people ( like the GS, Shadowukcs) who put so much effort into creating a better world with ATLANTIS, we are going to go through a long struggle to fight the still existant PEACE axis and remain free of invasion. This is a frightening notion for our nation, but i believe that good old British spirit will prevail and lead us through this stormy weather.
In the early hours of this morning, former MoF Roadrunnerspeed managed to get his way into government accounts and took the vast sums 2,900GOLD and 15,500GBP. Leaving the government with a scary sum of only 912GOLD. Roadrunnerspeed did, however, agree to return the money if we complied with his demands, which were:
a) Goku jones removed as MoFA - COMPLETED (500g returned)
b) Support Germany - COMPLETED (412g returned)
c) Removal of corps and the return of the military to the MoD and his understudies and to be given proper funding
d) Support of future allies (if an MPP is triggered you fight for them).
The removal of Mr. Jones as MoFA was a much needed move; The words 'Completely Incompetant' come to mind. SaraDroz was an excellent MoFA but she has made many bad decisions as PM, bowing to terrorists demands and not enforcing support of allies makes us think.
Is SaraDroz out of her depth?

... Except they weren't a member of ATLANTIS when Sweden mde the war declaration (simply because it is against ATLANTIS' rules to attack an ally).

When we did a PTO of CR, people were up in arms about ther ebeing no votes and undemocratic and the such, yet when RRS steal all our money leaving up open to invasion at a vital time, everyone bows down and congratulates him.

I find it a bit odd, that criticism goes to the govt and not to the terrorist. I thought he would be ostricised by the community.

well, i guess things like this happen when the wrong person has access to all the national funds...
Some of you anti-UKers really need to get a clue. UK is one of the best and most faithful ATLANTIS countries going. Oh and ATLANTIS was hardly a fighting force against imperialism, when they had the likes of Spain and Romania under their banner.
The UK has, well back in my day, fought virtually every war there was to fight, we often spent a HELL of a lot more gold than ANY other ATLANTIS nation on operations, which would often not even get spent on our own army - and we knew this.
So before you start thinking you know the whole story, let me tell you. YOU DONT.

Ok, ok. all of you people saying Goku is incompetent. You don't know crap. Everyone's just jumped on this bandwagon that Goku is such a big imperialist, and that that shouldn't be tolerated in the position of MoFA. Well, let me tell you this: He was a helluva lot more conciliatory than anyone here. Yes, he did a stupid thing in taking out RRS's PTO organization for Ireland. But if we had let that happen, how dumb would the eUK look then?
How about you read previous articles in his newspaper? right from the beginning.
UK was and still is a perfect example of fair country. It wasn't imperialistic like Romania and reserved like USA. They allways helped their allies (wether allies deserved it or not) and I believe it should be a core of a new, fair alliance protecting small and defenceless countries.
