Breaking News | Romania Loves Indonesia?

JAKARTA - Romanian President Alex Craciun proposed a peace treaty to the Indonesian Congress 4 hours ago.

The treaty proposal (http://www.erepublik.com/en/Indonesia/law/6437) demands no reparations at all from either country.

With just 1 yes vote and 5 no votes, there doesn't seem to be much promise at the moment for the peace proposal. Nonetheless, with almost 20 hours more left before the polls close, we have yet too see what shall happen.

Editor's Note: My initial reaction: WHUT?!?!?

One can only imagine the far-reaching implications of and the ramifications stemming from this proposal being passed.

It strikes me that Romania/Atlantis has lost one too many regions and is now begging for mercy. Do you really thinking Indo/PEACE will give it to them when they alternative is crushing them into the ground? I think not. hehe

i think it is more of the presence of bugs from either alliances. i dunno about indonesia, but several eromanians have declared to die in the New World if the admins doesn't do something about the bugs that's giving either of them a certain advantage over the other.

"Do Romanians really want peace with Indonesia? Hardly. We don’t know what is the real intent of peace agreement but having in mind that Romanian government is putting Q5 hospital and calling its citizens to move to ESR. it is obvious they plan to continue the war. By populating ESR Romania is trying to make China spend more money if they choose to attack it again. And by protecting that flank Romania will be able to concentrate on other battles where they can make advantage in numbers. This move will make PEACE stop and regroup and Romania could get an upper hand. We shouldn’t be surprised if Romania soon decide to put an DS in East Siberian Region."

They will attack Western Siberian Region (WSR)
its a good plan because romania can't do any counter attack since the peace proposal was already passed in their congress.

PEACE is resurgent on all fronts. Surprising, considering the sheer military power of eRomania, backed up by the population of the eUS. I thought at first it was temporary thing - eRomania not being able to marshal enough online citizens to defend those regions - but they would never allow that much territory to be lost in such a short span of time.

More reason to join PEACE.
