*Important News* Chairman of the Joint Chiefs William Shafer Fired

Dear citizens of Singapore,
It is of the utmost regret to inform you that we have had a very unfortunate turn of events regarding our previous Chairman of the Joint Chiefs & previous 3 time Congress Member William Shafer.
William Shafer has apparently decided due to the Singaporean citizens & government not supporting his bid for president for a 3rd time (among other personal & likely other unknown issues he has) that he feels the need to take it upon himself to steal Singapore's Military Organization Tentera Singapura & the 2 companies that reside on it Singapore City Armory & Singapore City Travel from our nation of Singapore. He has changed the Organization password locking out other Government & Military officials and has since transferred these 2 companies to his private Organizations Enorme armas & Shafer Industries and is currently selling them as well as keeping all the Singapore funds these 2 companies had and are worth. This total value of assets is valued at over 150 gold counting the standing currency of approx 7 Gold & 5,000 SGD & approx. 150 tickets & 400 weapons that were on the Org & companies. I had unfortunately recently transferred the 5,000 SGD currency (95 Gold value) to the company from Singaporean Treasury when I still had access 5 days ago for payroll and the purchase of new raw materials for both companies which he clearly decided not to use it for.
This has obviously prompted me to abruptly Fire William Shafer as the Joint Chief of Staff and strip him of all his Singaporean Offices & rights. I urge all Singaporean citizens to not work for these 2 companies and to not support William Shafer or these 2 companies in any way, shape or form.
The government is formulating a recovery plan to replace what was lost and will continue to forge ahead and continue our growth regardless of what harm William Shafer has caused.
I also feel I must take responsibility for this heinous act. I should have not given such a person as William Shafer such freedoms of our Singaporean Military Org nor appointed him to such a prominent role within my Cabinet and our government. In this regard for my failures if the people of Singapore wish it, I will donate 150 Gold from my personal money into the Singaporean Treasury as well as resign from my posts for such inexcusable failures.
I am very sorry for this loss Citizens & Troops of Singapore. Singapore is a strong Nation though and will recover from this loss with its head held high.
I have not appointed a replacement Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and I will be doing this job myself for the remainder of my term.

*UPDATE*
Day 1
New development in this case. William Shafer has sold the companies on the market to private investors who in turn sold them back to the Singapore Government for the same price they acquired them from William Shafer for (20 gold & 22 gold). In this regard we have been able to minimize the loss a bit further as the ticket company still has 123 tickets and the weapons company still has 341 weapons. But the currency is still a loss.
Employees of these companies please now do not quit. They are back in government hands.
I would like to extend a thank you to both Jewitt & Sir Edward of Avalon for re-acquiring these companies back from Shafer for us.

Day 2
"William Shafer has transferred 49.15 GOLD to your account."
This still means approx 5,000 SGD is stolen but at least the gold and companies are not a loss.

Day 3
Shafer has also since given back some more of the stolen Gold "Value" by donating his private Q2 weapons company to Singapore. This does not recover all of the loss, but it makes the loss at under 40 Gold approx.

This is very unfortunate. This was one of the main reasons I went against my party and did not endorse Mr. Shafer. My level of trust for him has never been high. I have put too much work into this country in just a month to have him and his power hungry persona ruin it all.
But hey, pat yourself on the back actually. At least this is something we can recover easily from. It could have been much worse.
If there is anything myself or TVA can do to help out, we will. I am also currently trying to get these companies back through back channels, maybe we can get lucky.
Shafer, you should be ashamed of yourself. Just another example in a long line that shows everyone you aren't worth the protein you're made from. It appears I made the right decision to not endorse you. You had your plan to rip off our govt foiled, and if I have anything to do with it, you won't have the ability to target other countries.

Oh please, your labeled intentions have changed in the past 4 days. The central purpose of your goals Militarily might remain the same but your personal goals went from helping Singapore to stealing from Singapore in that same 4 day span.

The goals as I knew it of yours was to join a new neutral nation and build a strong military for that nation. This goal would help both the nation and yourself as you intended to use this Military for purposes of Hire. Which would also add to the coffers of the nation and likely yourself.
I did not have any problems with this as it did not harm Singapore and in fact making a strong military could only help Singapore and the actions of being Merc's would keep the Soldiers busy and appeased as there likely would not be much fighting on the home front anyways.
This whole idea of TO a nation or stealing money that you bring up now is completely new to me and likely something you decided even for yourself only in recent days.

For whatever reason Shafer did what he did, it's still theft and it's still inexcusable. It's betraying the basic principle of trust that has to exist within a relationship, and we can also never know for certain his alleged 'goodness of heart' in his motives.
But let's move on. What's done is done. Most importantly, we should learn the lessons that he's been putting forward - such as contracts and diversifying power - without needing to accept him personally. Mudslinging just ends up with everyone, well, in mud. Save your breath (or fingers, in this matter).
