How Wellness is Increased

Wellness is increased by 1) eating food (done automatically once a day) and 2) receiving gifts from other players or organizations.

The increase in Wellness corresponds directly (is equivalent) to the quality of food or gift. Thus, if you eat Q1 (1-star) food. You get a 1.00 Wellness boost. If you receive a Q5 (5-star) gift, you receive a 5.00 Wellness boost.

Work everyday so that you can upgrade your skills faster so that you can ask your boss for a raise or quit and apply for better-paying jobs so that you can buy higher quality food.

Once you have some money, you can also buy gifts, donate them to your brother and have him offer them to you. He will become your "gifting buddy".

If worse comes to worse, you might have to suck it up and ask food from higher-level players. There are many benevolent souls in the Philippines who I'm sure are willing to help. *cough* Bestie *cough* romansoldier *cough* Gloriousfailure *cough* XD

Fighting in a war can also boost your Wellness exponentially if you do it right, not to mention give you some good XP.

(Note: You can only fight when your Wellness is 40 or above. You can fight as many times a day as you want as long as your Wellness doesn't dip below 40.)

Once you fight, you are entitled to get 3) "healed" in the hospital in the region that you're in. The increase in Wellness is equal to the quality of your hospital's region multiplied by 10. Thus, if the hospital is Q4, you will receive a 40.00 Wellness boost if you get yourself healed there.

You will know how to do this once you're there.

However, the Philippines is not involved in any wars at the moment.

You will have to buy tickets and move to another country rife with war and struggle like Romania or Indonesia to fight in their almost daily battles. However, that might be too expensive an option for newer players.

I recommend that new players join the Philippine Military Academy. Supreme Commander Hazzn runs that joint. He probably has some systematic plan similar to what I described above.

Read this first: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/join-up-to-filipino-military--774586/1/20

Just follow the instructions to sign up.

Train everyday, too.

4) Owning a house gives you a daily Wellness boost equivalent to the quality of house you own. Thus, if you own a Q1 house, you will get a 1.00 Wellness boost every day in addition to the that given to you by your food.

However, you will only received the Wellness boost from the house as long as there is food in your inventory for that day.

Furthermore, purchasing a house is out of the question for players below level 6 as the cheapest, lowest quality house (Q1) currently sells for around 3.5 to 4.2 GOLD in the market.

(Note: Once you reach level 6, you will be given 5 GOLD by the eGods. You can use some of this towards buying your first house, or pooling your GOLD with other players to form a corporation or cooperative like what I did earlier in the game. It's up to you, really.)

How Wellness is Decreased

Wellness is decreased by 1) existing. Yup. Merely existing in the eWorld costs a certain amount of Wellness points everyday. The amount of points lost depends on your Wellness and whether you have food in your inventory.

You can hit the official wiki for more information (http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Main_Page) regarding the formulas for these.

2) Working costs an amount of Wellness equivalent to the quality of product that your company produces. Thus, working at a Q5 Food company sets you back a whopping 5.00 Wellness points every time you work.

3) Training (which, unfortunately, you really have to do everyday) costs 1.00 Wellness every time you do it.

4) Fighting in a battle costs you colossal 10.00 Wellness every time you click the 'Fight' button. But, as I said above, if done properly, you can actually raise your Wellness beyond your wildest imaginations.

Getting 5) PERMANENTLY BANNED will have an irrevocable and untoward effect to your Wellness. Do not tread this path.

How to Vote People into Congress

On April 25, upon opening your eRepublik account, Plato (the allegedly gay guy on the upper right-hand corner of the page) will admonish you to 1) buy food if you don’t have food in your inventory, 2) find a job if you don’t have a job already, 3) work and 4) train, in that order.

Of course, as a astute and diligent citizen of the Philippines, you will dutifully undertake these tasks.

Finally, He will urge you to 5) vote.

Once you click the link he provides, you will be taken to the page that shows a list of the political parties in the Philippines. Don’t pay much attention to them, though, as you will only need to click on Filipino Progressive Movement (FPM) link.

After that, a list of candidates running for congressional representative of your region under the FPM ticket will appear. The list will show the candidates’ names, avatar, party affiliation and a link to their political platform/presentation (if any).

But, you won’t have to pay attention to much of those, either, as you will only have to look for the candidate named Ariel David Buena. To the far right of his name is a round-ish logo stamped with the word ‘VOTE’ in capital letters. This is what you will click on and the Philippines will live happily ever after.

(Note: Unfortunately, you can vote ONLY ONE congressional candidate. It sucks. I know. But, that’s why you have to make your vote count. Your responsibility in the coming April 25 elections is to make sure that, as much as possible, every single one of the FPM and the PFF’s candidates gets into Congress. So, you will have to practice smart voting and vote for PFF/FPM candidates who appear to a little behind in the running.)

Warm Regards,

Ariel David Buena
Ambassador of the Philippines to Japan
Supervisor, Department of Home Affairs
