RE-ELECT SENATOR BILBARUS

My name is Bilbarus and I am running for re-election to the senate in the North Territory . I am one of the more conservitive members of the ANP . I was ' born ' in eAusrtaila and have lived here my entire elife . On political issues , I'm willing to discuss new ideas , and support the ones that will work , no matter which side of the isle they started on . That being said , I think a few breif words are in order for the policys I support .
International relations - I feel the policy of neturality has served us well and should be continued until a compelling reason to change it comes along .
Econemics - Government should not place itself in a position to compeat with privet industry . Government should stick to doing the things only a government can do .
Social Programs - The hospital program is vital for national security and diplomacy . Medicade , although expensive , is operating in accordancd with the will of the people , and should continue to do so .
Aside from these policys you should know that you are not just electing a man , but a set of principles . When the government announced the boycotts of certin companies , I stood up for all of us and said "NO " . When certin senators suggested that the government should take action against a political party , I told them " no way ". Oh sure there were logical reasons to take these actions . But when you start down the slippery slope of depriving people of their rights , you have to ask yourself " Who's next ? "... Maybe you .
Funny thing about principles is that thay are still there , even when they are inconvenant . In fact , I have found that the times when my principles served me best were when they were most inconveniant . Because when the gold is all spent , and the money is all gone , you turn out the light at night . And your left with the things that you have done , and the things you have said . I'm pleased to say that I sleep well at night . Thank you for reading this and pardon my spelling .

i will vote for you if you stop SAYING YOUR NAME AFTER EVERYTHING YOU WRITE.
Alot of older white collar people (typically middle management - who didn't grow up with computer co-respondence) tend to sign the name like that. It's just a habit that they bring to the computer environment.
Of course there's the other 15%. Regardless I don't think it should make any difference.
i agree scoty. Bilbarus, alot of people have asked u many times now to stop sticking ur neck out and and trying to increase ur head size. plz stop saying ur title, it really only diminishes people's views of you, not improve.
WOW , you guys have thin skins . I'm sure that someday it will go back to being simply ' Bilbarus ' . When I'm dealing with the army it's ' Pvt. Bilbarus ' . I sign most of my personal communications ' Bil ' . If the worst thing you guys can think of to say about me is that you don't like my signature , I'm way ahead of the game .

I have to agree with Bilbarus here. I don't see a problem with him signing with his title - it lets new players know who he is and makes him more accountable.

Personally I agree with the Senator using his title. He is a SENATOR. It is only proper for him to put his name AND title after everything. Plus like Altus said it makes him accountable for his actions. If someone is just roaming around reading things and sees something the Senator wrote and they agree/disagree then they know that the person writing it is a VOTED government offical. When a Senator or President is intorduced to a public crowd are they not inrtoduced as Senator Yadayada or Predsident Blahblah?
Also I think the last thing on the Senators mind is how big his head his. If you look at his campaign and actually read it, he is trying to do what is best for everyone not himself.
In my opinion the Senator, throwing Senator Bilbarus after everything is quite alright and very understandable.
i only agree if he is posting something relating to the senate not on just random posts.
Is it me, or is spelling correctly becoming a dying art? And here I thought computers were developed to help us... Spell Checker anyone? I'm starting to agree with the person who said, "The internets are losing our smartness!!!"
