Hello,

I am writing to let you all know my wish to run for Senate in the Northern Territory.

I am a firm believer in Democratic Socialism. I believe that this is the finest form of government that we as a people can achieve in our current evolutionary pattern. Under this system we are freed of the need to dominate our neighbors, because we can achieve everything we need using our own resources. Whereas Imperialism has a value in systems that favor greed above need, we know that it is only through diplomacy and negotiation that any long term benefit to our nation can be realised. We seek no wars, and as such do not need to hoard the vast amounts of resources a nation in a state of war seeks. By this method we allow each to achieve according to their ability, while allowing no need to go unanswered.

Because we are democratic we will never force individuals or companies to comply with our demands. Every person has a voice, one that is not only heard but respected. If I am elected I promise to continue this great tradition in eAustralia. I will do my best to make available as much information to the people as possible. Transparency in government, as well as participation through the forums and IRC is absolutely critical to the survival of our state.

I will demand nothing of you, citizen, while I will strive to my dying breath to provide you with every advantage I can offer.
