Join the new world

Now that I'm serving another term as President I have had the time in between wars to look at my cabinet and make a few changes while giving our people a bit of an update. WE don't have many major changes to our cabinet, and we'd like to advertise some of other other cabinet and government programs that will benefit our country.


Cabinet Changes
Essentially, we only have one cabinet changes and that is in our foreign affairs section, where we have reworked the leadership in that area slightly. Aside from that the rest of my previous cabinet will remain as they have proved to be capable and manage to do a wonderful job under my chief of staff Princess MedyPi.

Secretary of State (MoFA) :: Publius
Taking over Inwegens post as Secretary of State will be Publius, a long time player of erepublik. Publius and I see eye to eye on many foreign matters and I believe that working more closely with him on these issues will create a closer connection between my cabinet and my choices of policy for the USA.

Under Secretary of State (UMoFA) :: Inwegen & Ogdensign
Currently Inwegen is still deciding if he would like the position of UMoFA, and should he decline we will find another citizen suitable for the post. should he accept, Inwegen will be working more with Publius directly on our foreign policy and offer some different views to the table. As far as Ogdensign goes, he will be working more with our ambassadors and embassies, getting their reports and organizing information from them.


Citizen Programs
GoBucks, the head of all citizens programs such as the Welcoming Committee and the Department of Education has been doing a wonderful job as of late. His programs and departments are running quite nicely, so here are some updates on what they got going on.

Mentoring Program: Headed by Bill Brasky, this program under the Department of Education is offering services to new citizens to give them direct support for new citizens. They have been giving first hand advice to the newbies that are directed his way through the citizens message and forums.So far this program has been running very well and has been bringing the country more involved and well educated citizens.

Department of Education: Ran by Tiacha, this department has always been very active and is producing many articles to the public. As well as overseeing the mentoring Program, the DoE has been working very hard to bring top quality tutorials to the new citizens, directly from people who have top experience in those fields.

Meals on Wheels: Bringing up a familiar name, this program is headed by Aiden Astrup, who so far on his budget has been doing a wonderful job. Bringing food to the active citizens who take time to sign up for the opportunity gives food to the citizens who deserve it instead of taking a gamble with the citizen fee.

I want more from these two groups so I'm kicking you verbally. You've been doing great in the beginning, but you've both quieted down. Lets get functional and offer me some suggestions for the economy of for the war or something. Get that proposal for nationalizing Hospitals out there or get more info on how much damage we do in a battle for each gold we spend.


MOAR WAR!
Yes I have more war for the USA. We recently took Mexico's capital, so on we must march! Just now we have opened up a new battle in Oaxaca for attack. This must be done quickly as Mexico is now signing an MPP with Brazil, so Action must be taken now! Hungary has also attacked Romania again, so as stated in last article, we will attack again. At the same time, I have sent more troops to Romania, so fear not as our allies are being aided in multiple ways at this moment. As Always...

As a closing note, I would like to announce that I am now engaged to the wonderful Xtasia of Romania. Love amidst a war is indeed possible, and so our love will shine to brighten a war torn world. May this event provide a greater sense of relaxation over our country during times that we are so tense. finally, may we prove that in this game we are here to have fun, and what can be more fun than wars and weddings? The wedding date is not yet set, however we will let everyone know who is invited as soon as we have decided.
