Department of Education Update and Surveys Galore

Day 447, 11:22 Published in USA USA by Department of Citizen Affairs

As the new Presidential term starts, the Department of Education is making some changes too. Although leadership is staying the same, the Department of Education is looking for new active members. If you have a passion for helping the eRepublik community, have a lot of new ideas, and love to write, you’d be a great member of the Department of Education. Qualifications include being able to communicate on the Department of Education section of the eUS forums. Being active on #education would be helpful, but not required. If you’d like to be a member of the the DoE, fill out this application form. A decision and an announcement on new members will be made in a few days.

If you’d like to suggest a topic for the DoE to write on, we have a suggestion thread on the eUS forum. Or, use this form (http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?key=pM6zQqiQLWSyi6U4JlAvDVw) to suggest a topic to the DoE.

Topics we plan on addressing this term include: A glossary of eRepublik terms, how to use proper English on your newspaper, how to create a successful newspaper, using the second hand market to house hunt, the rules of the eRepublik forums and so much more. We want to include your topics so please let us know what you want us to write on!

As, always, though, the DoE fully endorses North American University as a method of learning in eRepublik. NAU is a private university run by Emerick. Although no Federal funds are given to NAU for classes, the Department of Education feels NAU is a critical part of education in eAmerica today.

The beta semester has just ended. If you attended NAU, there is an evaluation form available to rate your experience. With this feedback, we hope to create a better second semester at NAU. There’s going to be an announcement on when the second semester starts on both the NAU newspaper and on the NAU board on the eUS forums.
Go here (http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?key=pM6zQqiQLWSzk6bfbEEiqfg) to take the survey.

As always, if you have any questions about the DoE, please contact this org or Tiacha.
