TheSource: Vote 1 Alte Altus!

Day 397, 17:35 Published in Australia Australia by Alte Altus

With the elections for congress on the horizon it will soon be time for eAustralia to cast its vote for the future direction of this newly reconstituted nation. All things considered, it is not going to make a whole lot of difference which party takes the most seats. Everyone seems to have a united idea of what is needed to get this country off the groun😛 More AUD, government supported low level companies, requisition of former eAustralian territory, low taxes, etc.

That said, much can happen in a month, and although the ANP is not likely to have the support base to gain a majority, it is likely that we will hold the balance of power between the left-wing ADSP and Tony Stark's authoritarians. This will be important once eAustralia becomes established to remind whoever does form government of their obligations to the people of this nation.

Allow me then to introduce myself, Alte Altus, as a proposed MP (might as well use Australian terms) for the Nationals. Personally, I don't support the printing of more AUD. Considering the recent donation by eIndonesia, and the detrimental effect printing would have on the dollar's value, it is not only unnecessary, but could even be detrimental to the economy. I do support low taxes, and even training companies (although if at all possible I would rather the free market provide such companies with minimal government assistance). Of course, when we can afford it, starting resistance wars in former eAustralian states should be a priority, as should remaining neutral in the world wars.

That should give a fair idea of where I stand, and I encourage you to vote for me or one of my ANP collegues ghitagg, TheBlackAdder, and theodeus in the upcoming elections in Victoria. Let's keep the new government honest.
