Is it wrong...?

Realising I could not continue saving for a house and not die at the same time, I went off-site to look for random people who wanted an invite to Erepublik. Only 2 people responded, but 2 was enough. I now had enough money to buy a house.
(This is the part where I start feeling a bit guilty).
Looking through the market I realise that up for offer in South Africa there were only Q1 houses... and they were rather expensive. So, I bought a travel ticket to another country and bought a Q2 house over there. The country I bought the house from was Indonesia. I started out living there (Australian in real life) and so I knew the market had cheap high quality house. Was that wrong to do?
I moved to South Africa because I could sort of relate to what had happened, and so I felt some strange sort of devotion to help you guys rebuild, hence moving here.
I feel like I've sort of betrayed that by buying from the nation that nearly destroyed you, but I really didn't want a Q1 house.
Is it wrong to forgo everything you stand for just for personal gain?

Yes, and we should burn your cheap foreign import house to the ground....
Seriously, it is only \'wrong\' if your principles actually mean something to you.
what compmage said....burn baby burn!
it wasn\'t wrong, our housing market is underdeveloped since a lot of people can\'t earn half of the money necessary
😁^This is a bad way to think of it. Rufus spent a large amount of money by buying a house from our enemy. It\'s not entirely right but maybe not entirely wrong, either. The best solution would have been to continue saving and gotten a Q1 house from Berenyi KFT if at all possible. But it wasn\'t the worst thing a person could have ever done. It just doesn\'t benefit SA in any way, and the exploitive and evil Japs get a fat wad of cash.
people aren\'t stupid to buy expensive things no matter where the money goes, consumers shouldn\'t be prompted to benefit the market but the market should benefit the consumers, that didn\'t happen and rufus went off to buy the house somewhere else
he was just following his common sense in my opinion
enemy of the state I say....
It wasn\'t the best of choices, but it\'s big of you to admit it to everyone and be critical enough to examine your own faults.
Learn from it, never do it again, and help make this place better.
Agree with Leif. It was wrong, but we dont hate you for doing that, except chriz 😃
