Pfeiffer and Cuba took over Guerrrilla Championships! Congrats!

Great competition last night on Clopoyaur TV, 92 people registering to fight in the first Guerrilla competition after a break of 6 months. Everything was amplified by Plato announcement that he is going to offer as prize “10 gold for each player that plays in the contest”. People stormed to “steal” Plato’s money, and they pretty much succeede😛 55 players completed the 7 minimum fights to enter the general classification, while 12 did not resisted till the end, even though they started the competition. In the end, the very satisfied Plato decided to be generous and offered us 700 Gold as prizes next to the 100.000 cc initially offered by me. Thank you, Plato

But it was not an easy evening as “crazy” events started to happen only 10 minutes even into the competition. With so many players involved in Guerrilla, the site started to become unstable and many experienced a lot of “waiting” until they got an opponent. And this was only the beginning as buttons started to freeze all over the place and even myself, the organizer, I was almost on the position to not be able to complete the 7 fights in the given 75 minutes of the competition. A quick decision was made to add extra 15 minutes to the competition for all the players to manage to finish their battles.

And what battles they were. While some barely were able to find an opponent, others were killing enemy after enemy, one after another. Pretty quick it became a battle between the newcomer Pfeiffer. and “mister podium”, Lord Morgoth Bauglir. They went head to head until the last minutes. Even though he lead almost the entire the time, Pfeiffer lost the lead 10 minutes before the end, but had a fantastic come-back and in the last minutes scored 2 victories to take the necessary edge. Lord Morgoth finishes for the second time in the second position and holds a strange record, in 8 editions he managed to get 2 silver medals and 2 bronze medals, so podium in 50% of times, but never managed to be champion.


Despite the bugs and nerves, everybody had a lot of fun starting with the rookies , people that were taking part for the first time in such a competition to the veterans that wanted to improve their rankings or scores from previous editions. There were even players that played Guerrilla for the first time or they barely know what the “red button” does 🙂. Still, this competition proved to anyone that Erepublik is fun when you play it with friends and is all about having fun. Adrenaline, nerves, stress, competitive spirit or objectives to achieve, everything was there as people were fighting for the individual classification, for the team, for the 0&1 bonus section or to score those 3.5 points to get the minimum prize.



And here are some more people to congratulate, as phono, despite being only +1 damage managed to score 5 points and proved to be the best out of the small players. Surprisingly or not, his MU colleague fodorm got into second place together with Elijah Abbot.



This makes fodorm the first lady to finish in podium in Guerrilla Challenge. It is worth mentioning that 38 out of the 67 players that shot at least a fire in the competition (56😵 were belonging to the 0&+1 damage category.



Nikola Tesla came with the idea of a Cuban team, he was raising his team during the whole day, changed the composition one hour before competition and that proved to be winning move as “Cuban Rum” took a surprising title in the team competition over passing strong favorite teams like eBulgaria, Team Hungary of Serbia. Congrats to Nikola Tesla, Loolie Drea, AragonDaisengard and Kolluchyi, the stars of the night. Surprisingly, a random team finished up in second place even if one of the members did not scored points. Blame it on Serbianscorpion. Still Lord Morgoth, Alistair and trbovc carried this team to the silver medal position. With a victory in the last seconds Takimanija’s Serbian team took the bronze, throwing former champions, Macedonian Lions in the 4th spot. Big favorite, team Hungary, finished up only 5th while my team… ok, I wont say we finished 10th 🙂
Conclusion: Cuba is the Best.

BEST TEAM = 30.000 cc + 80 Gold
2nd TEAM = 20.000 cc + 60 Gold
3rd TEAM = 10.000 cc + 40 Gold
4th TEAM = 5.000 cc + 20 Gold
5th TEAM = 10 Gold
6th TEAM = 5 Gold

Individual competition
1st place = 15.000 cc + 100 Gold
2nd place = 10.000 cc + 75 Gold
3rd place = 5.000 cc + 50 Gold
4th place = 3.000 cc + 30 Gold
5th place = 2.000 cc + 20 Gold
6th-8th place = 1.000 cc + 10 Gold
9th-16th place = 500 cc + 7.5 Gold
17th-29th place = 250 cc + 5 Gold
Any other player scoring at least 2.5 points = 2.5 Gold

0 and +1 bonus damage section
1st place = 7.000 cc + 30 Gold
2nd-3rd place = 4.000 cc + 10 Gold
4th-6th place = 1.000 cc + 5 Gold
7th-10th place = 250 cc + 2.5 Gold
