[MoEd] Guide to Joining the National MU
Department for Education
Yes, there is a new National Military Unit on the block! So far two MUs have declared that they will be merging, and it is expected that more will be doing so over the next few weeks. Everyone is free to join however. But what does this have to do with the Ministry of Education? Simple, we are going to show people quickly how they can join the new MU, how to find the right regiment if they are moving over with their old MU, and how to get settled in.
Joining
For those who are currently in a military unit you will have to leave it. Click here or go to your military unit home page. There you should see an image similar to the one below (your MU will have a less awesome commander). Click the "resign" button which is circled in the image, and then you should have left your old MU.
Your old MU, say goodbye!
Now click here, or go to the National Military Unit home page. Click the join button and you are in!
Get in the National Military Unit today!
You will need to do 10 kills to become a fully qualified member of the military unit, and you should see this notification on the home page on eRepublik. Get those kills done now!
Regiments
If you belonged to either of the two military units that are merging into the National Military Unit, Nifty and Ghost Regiment, you can join their regiments. If you belonged to Nifty contact Fataliix. If you belonged to Ghost Regiment contact Rory Winterbourne. Even if you didn't belong to either you may be able to join the regiments, just contact either of the two captains above.
For more information on the regiments, read the Armed Forces article.
Things To Do To Get Settled In
Below are a list of things that you can do once you join the National Military Unit so that you can get settled in and meet your new comrades.
- Complete your 10 kills
This allows you to become an official member
- Post on the National Military Unit feed
Once on the homepage you will notice a chat feed on the right where you can "Say something…"
- Enter the National Military Unit chat room
On the bottom right of your screen click "Chatrooms" and talk to other soldiers who are online
- Comment on the National Military Unit article
Another possible way of stating your approval of this new awesome military unit
- Claim a military job
Get payment of 100 Q7 weapons for having a job in the military, click here for the form
- Message your friends
Ask them to join the National Military Unit too, so that we can all have more fun!
That is our short guide to joining the National Military Unit and settling in quickly. Make sure you read the Armed Forces article so you can get a good understanding of the new military unit and why it has been set up. Even the Ministry of Education is backing it, so you must join!

Don't worry T-Swizzle! I'll be back!
Nice o7
Still haven't got any supplies
[removed]
Not sure pretending to be a guy who stole a million cc is likely to get you any either 😛
What about the guy "Boaty" that did help Wayne steal a miiiion cc, will he be getting any Roy?
It's not a debate it was a dick move giving Wayne the dictatorship. I'm not going to defend that, he does however donate his WRM + time to the unit now.
Out of interest why not join?
was that a yes or no?
Of course he would.
Is this the logic? An obvious multi pretending to be Wayne trolling for supplies doesn't get any, so because I make a joke about it, Boaty shouldn't get supplies because at one point he put Wayne in the position to steal.
I want the money in that MU 😃 shame it's fake 🙁
It is real
I wouldn't touch this unit with a barge pole they are just oldfag government scroungers who haven't been able to support themselves in 7 years now, they want the country to support them with tax payers funds.
Parasites.
It will be interesting to see how many are still fighting after a month it's only been one day and 33% are not even fighting. Good Luck
You've been here on this account 3 years longer than me, I don't even claim supplies from the national MU. Do you take Legion supplies? 😛.
"they want the country to support them with tax payers funds."
1. As of yet not a penny of government cash has been spent. When a spending request is approved, it will be public knowledge.
2. Six different q7 factories have been donated for use by the NMU, as well as 75,000+ WRM a day. This is for free, by people who want to help the eUK.
Really the only reason you are so set against this is because your scared it will undermine your power base in legion.
You too could get all the benefits of the taxpayers cash if you join the BAF 🙂
Also lol at you calling me an oldfag when you have been playing the game longer than me and are the exact definition of a bitter twisted oldfag who is mad he doesn't get his own way
"it's only been one day and 33% are not even fighting." Only half of legion fought last week lmao
I've yet to take any supplies from the NMU. Figured I shouldn't bother seeing as I barely fight and would rather work for somebody for money.
It's only people you're not keen on (who you have labelled oldfag government scroungers but this seems inaccurate as none of the three labels apply to me personally) in the MU at the moment because you're boycotting it and telling people not to join because it's only people you're not keen on, thus allowing it to remain only people you're not keen on.
You've perpetuated a funny vicious cycle as opposed to joining, becoming "parasites" yourselves and perhaps facilitating a positive change.
But you know, you do you, dude. Work it.

If you redo this article at any time you need to warn against http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/group-show/56
I would've advised explaining how the supply system within the MU works rather than an in depth guide on how to join it, seeing as most people would know that anyway.
Explain that it's a commune and how tank sending is calculated etc etc
If history tells us anything ,this will fail just like its numerous precedents. Still I admire you trying and wish you all the best but I will be staying where I am.
