I have long feared my sins would come back to haunt me

And boy did I get a dose of myself in Australia and Pakistan.

Hello America.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, I am back. My vacations abroad were certainly eye opening. What did I learn besides dealing with an unreasonable, overbearing, egomaniacs? It made me reflect. I learned how I was treating much of USA's players. I learned other players in these countries can be just as awful as I was. Damn. That was painful.

Other things that were painful?

1. Small populations are difficult.
2. Players who have no interest in politics but are in politics are maddening because they simply don't say ANYTHING ever. Not even a '**ck you stop messaging me!'
3. One player already rules it all. Australia has one person leading it, and Pakistan has one person leading it. No one else wants to do it. And there is almost zero trust amongst players!
4. There is no growth opportunity.
5. When you've left home you get denied citizenship for fighting in a trivial battle it kinda stings.



I've also put myself in the shoes of the players who had to deal with people like myself. That was a joy. (No, it wasn't, really.) So reflection has been important. OH! I learned fatherhood in RL while also on this vacation from USA. Oh man. Its awesome. So time was scarce for playing this game. But with the fractions of time I do have now its fun to pop in and mess around in erepublik.

Its good to be home.
