PARTY PRESIDENTS (first talk show of Israel - [ARENA]

Day 2,615, 11:38 Published in Israel Israel by Rufus1988
It will be more than an interview.
It will be more than a debate.
It will be more than an article.

It will be a fight for the "first blood"

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, you see the DESERT FOX NEWs's broadcast.
Welcome you in the Arena studio, in the first talk show of Israel.

We will have the following guests:

1) Chris Emma, the leader of Greater Israeli Party
2) I am John Galt the leader of Hasmoneans

Welcome you in the studio, and congratulation for your victory.
Let's see the rules:

At first I will ask about something, then you can respond. Please be straightforward, and concise.

After that you can react, in the same order, or you can say "skip".
If it is necessary I will open a third round in that theme.
Let's begin the fight.
So as I always said, the parties are the heart of our community. We all know, that some party is just a self-building organization, and we know citizens who have not any idea about our future, but they want to build their career, so they join to a party.

The original sin, if the individual interests are override the interest of our community.

You are all a party president. What do you say, what did your party do for us, or what should they have done for us? Please ignore the governmental policy, we are going to talk about it later.

I am John Galt:
John Galt: Sure. Well, the party is relatively new - we established it yesterday. There is not much action or things done *yet*. We do aim to help Israel in many different ways and I believe it will concern your next questions.

Chris Emma:
My party helped a lot of young players to get in congress and to choose the right CP for eIsrael
Social policy
How the government should support the newbies, how we can encourage a faster development. Are the informative news, emails enough or the government should do more? If the state involvement is necessary, what are the financial resources?

I am John Galt:
John Galt: First of all, the government should help the newbies. Absolutely. Either through help of food or weaponry. At the same time, military instruction and training should be imposed on the citizens and newbies alike to keep Israel free.
This is in the case of war.
Or pre-war.
Now, in the idea of everyday help - instructions should be more wide-spread and governmental notices should be precise and full.

Chris Emma:
I think that our Gov is doing a great job by helping newbis. The Tirount MU is helping young citezens with their Training Grounds and supply also we are translating every article in Hebrew language and i think is helping them a lot

I am John Galt:
I think we don't have much disagreement here. I agree that the gov is doing a great job so far - but they don't use their mediums to the fullest. More specified and expanded tutorials should be put forward and gov notices and announces should be made more frequently.

Ok, let's see the base of everything:
Economy
Our economy is absolutely vulnerable. Does any chance to change? How we can make a competitive economy, where the entrepreneurs can do business, and where our worker get good salary. Which are the best tools to support the economic development? Tax policy? National subventions? Customs? What do you think?

Chris Emma:
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do because economy in this game sucks we just can wait for some tournaments to get some gold We need players to have for money but with our current numbers There s nothing we can do.

I am John Galt:
I disagree. I think too that the economic system in the game is complete load of crap, but there is things we can do - we can give people the freedom to use money. Not increase tax - lure investors, lure people with money to create companies and create more jobs. The economy should be open completely and able anyone to invest his money in the economy.

Chris Emma:
What about the State Treasury ? Do you think that with such of low taxes we can make AS put CO and propose MPP ?

I am John Galt:
Not low taxes - regular taxes. The taxes that we have now are great, not too choking. The problem is not the citizen that is taken the money from, but that there are no people to take the money from. The problem is the lack of population and lack of investors. Raising taxes will drive people with money out instead of luring them in.

Foreign affairs
The Cypriot president was talking about peace in the Middle East, shortly after the war. Can we talk about long-term peace or we should prepare for the next conflict?
How can we prevent the occupation?
Do we have to reconsider our membership in Leto?

Chris Emma:
We can prevent occupations by building strong relations with them and of course im talking about a long term peace I don t think we should change our alliance LETO and ASTERIA helped us a lot in the past.
We are good at the moment

I am John Galt:
Well in this regard, I think conflict and occupation is inevitable. In eRepublik occupation, Imperialism and conquest are a part of the game. The way to protect ourselves, our land and our liberty is by arming up. Any time in the Middle East, or in eRepublik in general, is pre-war time. We could, at any time, be subjected to Cypriot occupation, Turkish, Greek or even Serbian again.
The arming up and training should be mandatory, for the protection of Israel.

Chris Emma:
I think that Israel survived because of his good foreign policy. There is nothing we can do about the army bcs when we do a fight only 10-15 are from eIsrael.
We should admit it we got most of them help from our Allies.
Thank you for accepting my invitation, it is the end of the “pilot” Arena.
Good bye.
PS:

This was a new kind of experiment.
And I see a lot of potential on it, but I know it has to be improved.
I hope you enjoyed it.
