Mood Music: Hail to the Chief

Earlier today, our great Nation reached the 100% damage goal for the New World Cup Final tournament and have been awarded 200 gold to the treasury and have since hit another benchmark for 75 more gold. With 4 days remaining in the tournament, continue to make your contributions to our national damage to secure even more winnings for the country. Well done, eAmerica. The entire executive is happy to applaud this victory that we have achieved together.

It’s been a busy first few days at the White House. If you’ve been following the Daily Press Releases, you already have a sneak peek of what we’ve been up to.

The National Security Council fired up their mass PM with leaders from our Nation’s Private Military Units after some waiting for accepted friend requests. It will continue to act as a link between our orders and the people who fight. If your MU was missed in the PM, please let the NSC know so that we can get your leaders added to the discussion.

The nation’s forums have been slow the last couple of days which has been a hurdle for the executive, as well as congress. We are doing our best to persist while the ever-diligent PigInZen works on finding a new host.

Our Secretary of Interior has been having connection troubles but should be back on track this coming week. Jefferson Locke, who was supposed to be the Secretary of State this month, is still in the hospital following surgery, and Derphoof is filling in for him and doing a great job keeping up with all the foreign contacts that flood the White House at the start of a term.

I’ve personally been handling talks with two nations: Cuba and France. I made a pledge in my campaign to resolve the situation with Cuba that resulted from our invasion last month for the NE boost (EZC and ST6 were both well ranked in the tournament and the boost in damage helped them maintain that) and resources. While I can’t release the details until tomorrow (if all goes as planned), I am happy to report that the situation has reached a solution and relations with Cuba will be much better in the month ahead and hopefully beyond.

France’s leadership approached me about the possibility of a Non-Aggression Pact. However, during the talks, a private French citizen financed massive combat orders to liberate their regions. We will be using this opportunity to reset the determination and recapture them by NE, which is currently in vote. The talks regarding a NAP have subsequently ended as to consider a NAP when their populace would rather throw money at the problem is counterproductive. France will continue to be a source of bonus regions that we intend to make use of.

In the coming days, our assistance will be needed by our allies, particularly our dear friends in Russia, who are currently under attack by Romania. We have shown countless times that we can be a reliable ally in a time of need, and we will continue to do so now. Watch for updates to orders as the situation develops.
